why did micah call his mother when he knew she has a split personality? Well, I think he just figured he was calling his mom and then he was going to stop when he realised it wasn't her. I was wondering why he told the other personality where they were? Well, I guess that was a good threat - that he wouldn't see his mom unless he told the other one where they were. And I suppose the alterego has never hurt him, has acted to save him, so maybe he doesn't realize how dangerous she is?

Okay, I really need to start paying more attention because that whole fingerprint thing is news to me. Thanks for the info! ;D Hey, I missed what the cop heard his wife thinking. Did he hear her talking about having an affair? This broken DVR thing is cramping my ability to keep up with these complex shows where a lot of stuff is happening. If I can't rewind on the fly, I can get lost so easily!! All we heard her think was "He knows." And there was some more vague stuff, but nothing that definately pointed to her cheating. What else could it be?

yeah but then he told her where they were knowing it wasn't his mother, he was speaking with. I got the feeling that he told her the wrong name of the hotel to throw her off. It doesn't matter, anyway--when his dad hung up the phone he said "c'mon, we've got some driving to do." So at best he just helped Niki/Jessica find their trail. And given all the other ways she might have obtained that information, I'd say Micah might have done a very good thing with that.

Talk, damn you!! ;D I liked the nice parallels and themes we got. Like sharing or not sharing info - why many of the heroes want to hide and why they are being "outed". Like brothers/siblings - the push and pull of them - fighting and still loving each other, helping each other out, at least eventually. And the way the various people are starting to meet up in little clumps. Hiro and Micah and his dad. The cop and the radiation fire guy. Isaac and Peter. Oh yeah! And cop and radiation guy share a tattooed symbol! Yes!!! I'm really wondering now if the tattoo is put on them - like by the glasses man group? Or is it a mark that, like grows on them when their powers start to manifest?

Given what Matt later heard his partner think, I'd say it's a pretty sure bet she was thinking about the affair.

yeah but then he told her where they were knowing it wasn't his mother, he was speaking with. Here's my speculation: He's not happy that his father took him away from his mother. He saw his father cause his "mother" harm and really wants them to either get back together or to live with his mom, who is so much more nurturing. And, he knows that Jessica would never hurt him. I don't know that he's so sure of his father. Ah. This could be, too. Although, I do wonder if he thinks better of his father now that he saw him rescue those people in the car. And was it only me that noticed the pill box on the driver's lap?

Not necessarily; he stayed to help the woman in the car. I just thought it was an interesting thing for Micah to say. It's a bit like Ando/Hiros - 'Heros don't run. If they want to stay alive, they do.' conversation of last week. **nods nods nods**

;D I was/am actually wondering if he was the clue to NY blowing up. I mean, is it someone like this just . . . getting out of control that causes things to go boom? Me too. If he gets agitated during interrogation in NYC, could he blow up the whole place by accident? Oh, and I love the avatar, btw. Beautiful. Ta, thanks ever so! I hadn't worn Dru lately and I was missing her.

And I'm glad her alter-ego didn't kill her confidante later. It was very chilling when Micah said so matter of factly, "put my mom on the phone". I loved that scene. Soooo good! I wonder what Micah's power really is. To make things work? To fix technology? The whole idea of communication?

why did micah call his mother when he knew she has a split personality? He didn't expect Jessica to answer the phone, I suspect. And, he didn't know if she would be okay, despite his father's assurances and wanted to make sure himself. But, he realized that Jessica was actually doing the talking pretty quickly into it. Smart kid. I think it was really Jessica saying that his mom wasn't going to be "let back" - (back into the body? into conscious control of the body? back into our universe?) - until she knew where he was that decided things for him. It's an effective threat to a kid.

Oooooooooh, now there's a thought!! A scary thought, too!

I bet he's just seen the differences over the past few months. Seen Niki and seen . . . um, what's her name. And just . . . knows. That she's not his mom. Jessica. Were we there when Niki found that out, btw? If we were, I missed it. I was wondering about that too. How she suddenly knew the other one's name. I don't think she said that in their little back and forth conversation last week. But there's a lot of stuff in each ep, so I might have missed it!
