Poor Peter.. "Persistant ideopathic fever" "No idea what's causing it" Simone straightened her hair? Huh. Aw, dammit, Nathan, you're making it hard for me to hate you. Oh, D.L, able to be a daddy out in the clear... Maybe. Aaron Malski? And woohoo! CE's guest star credits! That was a very cool moment. I think I actually squeed, just a bit. ;D **nods a lot** Yup. A suicide in self-defence, as it were. Dang - it's probably like the initiative in there somewhere. I wonder if they're using powers of some kind to, like hide things better? She's gone into denial, big time.

And kudos to Karen for suggesting it was a combination of symbols long, long ago. That Karen - always with the smarty pants.

Claire, back where she was when we first met her. The Haitian. DAMN. He can't replace what he's taken. "What you can do, what I can do: that is God. Respect it accordingly" Nathan and Hiro... "WHOOSH!" "keep it down" (quieter) "whoosh" "Think I can help" oh my. Nevada desert. Ted? Radioactive Man? Working with his powers? I thought he was in custody. So she's gonna recreate the circs under which she met Zach. Can't hurt to try. Zach is a good guy at heart. "So I never forget what I am" Oh, you SO will freak out, Zach. Splat.. "and as far as you know, that was attempt number one" Well, it was how she bonded with Zach before. Though I wonder how she got him to come out with her the first time, when she didn't have past knowledge. Wonder how clean she's gonna come with him about his mind-wiping. Was that Ted? I didn't recognize him! Maybe he's learning how to control things more?

Whoa! NIKI did that, not Jessica. Hot damn - so that's why she looked so surprised?! Cool! Well, it fits with Isaac getting clean and seeing that he can still paint without getting high.

Woot!! I guessed a while back that the symbol looked like ancient Chinese. (secret) What was it - 2 characters that meant 'special ability' and 'Godsend'? Love that Zach and Claire are reconnecting. And that Nathan FINALLY said that he could help. Isaac looked mighty fine - but seemed to have been mind-wiped. And whoa - Nikki channelled Jessica's power. You are on fire, woman! Well, not like nuclear guy "on fire" (which is a good thing) but smarty-pants guessing the symbols on fire. ;D Yup. Looks like it was mind-wipes all 'round, with Isaac being the latest. Which really makes Claire stand out. Why did the Haitian choose to help her? We know that daddy didn't have Mohinder wiped because he needs his help, but what is it about Claire? Is this because of her special importance? The "save her, save the world" thing?

Peter wakes up raving and leaves the hospital. Well, I guess we could see that one coming. Simone - heeee! She's so . . . . innocently happy. "You can paint the future!" But then, noooooooooo! Don't go running to Linderman!!!!!! Dang. Off to Vegas again. Oh, and Peter too? Well, seeking out the desert and past nuclear test sites is actually . . . . sort of logical. If he really thinks he can't control it. Sees the Doctor stealing . . . . Oh! He's invisible! "You can see me?! No one sees me!" So, I guess Peter just . . . went invisible too, when he got in range of the guy? And now our ending montage. Niki and Sylar both drugged up and locked in. Mohinder talking about imposing order onto chaos. And then, oopsie - here comes Jessica. "Who needs God when you have me." Yeah. 'Cuz you're doing such a bang up job helping out so far, aren't you. Good ep! Wrapped things up from where stuff was last time but also kept the plot moving forward. Lots of new directions to go. And don't forget, Sylar was staring at a cockroach—which is what Mohinder suggested God might be in the very first episode.

Zach losing his memory, and thus Claire her best friend? Still breaking my heart...
ETA: And I just realized I didn't say one word about it in my review. Jeez, I really *was* tired...

so I am understanding correctly HRG seems to be trying to get his hands on that list so he can continue to recruit "Heroes" for his own purpose, which I still am not convinced he is specifically a bad guy, maybe misguided but not all bad, I could be completely off in that statement though.
it seems he is trying to get rid of the ones that cant control thier power, or that may have a chance of "going bad" hence his capture and rehabilitation of Eden and getting her to help his cause, his now capture of Syler. his cleaning up of Isaac so he can paint without being drugged up. less chance of him loosing control. Claire I think he is just trying to protect. although it may be that he does not know if she can control her power or not just yet.
It could be we will wind up sort of x-men ish, with 2 sets of Heroes that want to achieve their own agenda's, which is why HRG really wants his hands on that list.
I think the Haitian just meant she is not alone because of all the other people with powers. I beleive he knows she is meant for something big.
Loved Hiro! there is not a scene he is in that isnt fantastic.
cant wait to see what Micah can do with is power next week. should be interesting to see how much power he has as a kid.
Now I know I have been away a while and a lot of my thoughtsand Ideas you all probably already know, so forgive me if I am posting old thoughts or old Ideas on here. I have not had a chance to go back and read all the posts from the other chapters yet.

Nope. Not DNA. Makes me happy, since it was so very badly drawn. And...I really do have to say this: The Human Genome Project does not work the way Mohinder seems to think it works. They sequenced ONE human. One. Craig Venter, unless I'm very much mistaken. You can't trace ANY genetic markers using the Human Genome Project. Not the way they're talking about doing it.

I think Linderman's the one pulling HRG's strings... Yeah. It really can't be a coincidence that he's connected to all the Heroes. It does make one wonder, though, a few things...like, if he knew that Hiro would need that sword...well, how did he know that?

Hey. So the symbol is a mixture of Japanese characters? Great talent and Godsend? Interesting. I think it must also have to do with being a warped version of a double helix, though, too. Considering the theme of mutating people and all. Maybe the ancient sacred symbols sort of . . . predicted this future or something? Or maybe the ancient Japanese hero was ... Hiro?

Okay, I'm gonna go out on a limb right now and make a prediction: Linderman is Claire's father. Now THAT's a scary thought.
