Part IV
Oh, Mommy Bennett's OK.
Daddy Bennett just seems to be trying to protect Claire and Mommy Bennett by removing their memories. Like, what you don't know can't hurt you. Except I don't think that's really true.
Story about Claire's dad is "complicated." OK.
Daddy Bennett's going to see the necklace somehow and get suspicious.
Is this roof Claude lives on? Yeah, with the pigeons.
You can't just see the future, you make it.
Peter's been there the whole time. Ah, that's what Claude meant.
Time to restructure.
Hiro reclaiming his power. Ah, it's a set up between the two of them. Sweet!
So we have favorite siblings in this family too.
It's PTT!
Ah, they're going to shoot her trying to escape. Or Linderman wants something with her.
You have to get rid of your disctractions. Episode title!
You are afraid of the world.
So he's going for the teach you to swim by throwing you in the deep end approach.
He regenerated!

Coda
There is no teacher but the enemy.
There's a wee bit of method to Claude's madness.
Claire: Sweet kid, sad little smile.
What now? Oh, all the different powers.
Claude punches him out. Hee!
Oh, the painting was of what just happened.
Isaac is still reporting to Daddy Bennett?
Daddy Bennet knows about Claude.
Hee! Love Daddy Nakamura's expression when Hiro hugs him.
Should never have read him those stories. Sounds like my parents.
Ando's still taken with Kimiko. Hee.
So she's really back like nothing happened.
"You're the one who wanted to be locked up." Be careful what you wish for.
The Haitian erased the whole day. Bummer. Claire spent so much time on her cover story too.
Maybe the Haitian doesn't have that selectivity.
Daddy Bennett looks different.
Cool quilt with the people on it.
WHOA!!!!! Claire's real daddy is Nathan. Whoa.
So what kind of relationship did they have?

I'm kind of annoyed. I had this little incipient Peter/Claire ship going.Guess it'll have to be Peter/Zach now. Wait, she's what, sixteen? ;D Wait again, he's what, sixteen? ;D Now I'm wondering how old Peter is. Because 6 months ago, he graduated from nursing school, suggesting that that he's 22ish. And if Nathan is Adrian Pasdar's age, that's almost 20 years between them. Not that that never happens in families, but still.

Oh, feh. I forgot about that. Actually, Claire's 15 going on 16. Didn't Mommy Bennett say she's a junior? Then again Mommy Bennett also said Claire made co-captain when she only started cheerleading 6 months ago, so what does she know.

Oh! I just remembered where I'd heard that before. Star Trek IV. "The doctor gave me a pill, and I grew a new kidney!" Sorry. Nonsequitur. Not really! George T. was in Star Trek IV: Let's Steal/Save Some Whales and Make One Really Low Budget Star Trek. It might have been a wink on the writers' part. Come to think of it.... Claire is trying to save the manatee... well sorta. Hmmmm.... I see connections. Vlad Could be. That was such a fun movie.

Kudos to Sara and everyone else who guessed that Nathan was Claire's father. I can't wait to watch all the episodes over again and see all the clues that you guys picked up on that I missed.
Claire/Peter shippers are probably all crying right now, or trying to exploit the incest angle for all its worth. This is why I never definitively make up my mind about the big things until I've seen the whole show.
I know I'm alone in this, but I really missed the Mohinder voice overs. I particulary want a consistency. If he's going to do his theme-like voiceovers, he should do them every episode. And I like them even if they don't make a lot of sense.
The Haitian needs a name. STAT.
I started to think in this episode that we've all been assuming that New York blowing up was a bad thing. What if there turns out to be something really bad there and the whole place blowing up is the best way to get rid of it? Just good to question all our assumptions, I think.

IV was the only Star Trek movie I saw that I liked. Scottie into the computer mouse: Computer! Spock trying on swearing. What can I say I like to be amused and I'm easily amused. A perfect combo. Ando and Kimiko sitting in a tree b-o-w-i-n-g ... I LOVE this show!!!!!! Oh, I love this show too! Really it's the only one that I am actively looking forward to each week! LOST is diminished goods, Veronica Mars is getting very streaky, 24 is losing it's oomph. BSG is way off it's stride for me. Aside from the bright spot that is HEROES, this season of TV is not what hte last two or so have been. And ST IV... it wasn't my personal favorite, but it had it's moments. I have noticed that most die hard Trekkers actually found it to be the most "likable for hte cast" *shrugs* I was never a die-hard Trek fan... but, I loved and grew up with the original series. Some of my fondest father/son memories are of my dad letting me sneak back up to watch it late night without telling on me to my mom. It and Wild, Wild West. And let me add: You being amused is also a bright spot, not jsut for me, but everyone on this board. You have such zest! I am so glad you found us!Vlad Thanks for talking about watching Star Trek with your dad--I like your family a lot from the things you've said about them. And, the red?

And I like the voiceovers, and particularly when Momo does the intro instead of Mr. Obnoxious. This is a really good point, and one I would never have thought of. It's a good thing to think outside the bomb.

Which isn't TOO horriffic to think of with a 22yo...but one who's NOT her half-brother... And Mommy Bennett is understandably confused about quite a few things...

From tv.com: Claire is 15 going on 16 and Peter is 26. They confirmed both of their ages in the last two episodes. So we all thought they were both older. Claire did say she was going on 16 when she was talking to HRG about her stuffed animals. Peter's mother said he was 26 when he was laying in the hospital bed in Godsend.I remember Claire screaming it to her dad. 10 years difference won't matter much in 5 or 6 years.

I was thinking half-brother for some reason. It's the same distance, though, isn't it? But still too close anyway.
