wow. so did HRG stage claude's death, to know all this (where to aim a gunshot, etc)? did he deliberately pick the bridge as the spot again? great episode! That was my thought, too. Although it did look like he tried to kill him. I think he let him go. But how did he survive that fall?

OhmiGAWSH, LittleHiro and his SuluDad! And SuluDad is bossing HRG around! That was such a wow scene!! **nods** And now it's making me wonder if SuluDad is really Hiro's daddy. Oh, interesting. So, SuluDad could've been given Hiro to 'take care of'. I'm going to need a bigger clipboard to keep all this straight.

"I answer to someone whose orders supercede yours." "In this company?!" "In your daughter's life." Ooooh, ouch! Aha!! I was right. They sent him to kill Claude. Claude was hiding "one of them", he was a security breach. The vivisection was starting to keep him up at night. And he knew that HRG was going to kill him, was in the room when they taught him to do it. He was counting on HRG caring about his daughter and so understanding. And possibly also he made a plan on how to get away? So, when did HRG start really caring for Claire? He obviously tried not to. Interesting phrases they use. The "interests of the company". Claude "used to believe in what we do". Claude talks about not hurting "one of my own people". And the company has encouraged this separate thinking. The folks with powers are "them"; HRG was startled to lean he's partnered with one of "them". So, why be surprised when "they" embrace their otherness and start caring about each other in defiance of your company rules? Escape!!! Oh, be quiet, Mrs. B!!!!! He'll hear you! And don't try to save her, she'll be fine! But she has to try to save her daughter. Oh. Now mom knows. And Ted knows.

wow... sure can see why they thought claude was dead! **nods** That many shots? And you could kind of see the outline of him go over the rail. But of course he knew he was being taken to be killed, so he had time to prepare, make a plan.

So Bennett knows that he can talk too. Or he is quick to adapt to change. "Someone whose instructions supercede yours" "in your daughter's life" Claude? Is that who he is listening to? "hunt my own people" and he shot him. Dang. Yeah. A definite split in belief there. He could kill a friend, but we can also see that he's starting to not be able to hand over his daughter to the same people who sent him to kill. Nicely stunned looks on all concerned at the end there. ;D

I'm thinking it was when she first smiled at him as a baby - did you notice the baby did that little half smile like Claire does? Nice touch. I don't get who the Haitian is working for, and why? There's obviously someone big who's on the side of the Heroes. Another Hero, or maybe a non-Hero who is sympathetic - who might have been paired up with a past Hero person and came to love him or her? Hmm....

Matt and Ted are not exactly seeing eye to eye here. But some of their snark is pretty funny. "I'm not gonna nuke the dog!" "There is someplace else we could look, like inside his head!" I know! They almost had me liking Ted there for a moment. Yeah, me too, until Ted when totally around the bend. You know it's bad when you're even more warped than DM. ;D I'm really at a loss for that one. I hope they do it, but I can't see how. Except if they do, at least we get a hint at how to control Peter later if it's needed.

"Someone whose instructions supercede yours" "in your daughter's life" Claude? Is that who he is listening to? i wondered the same thing. the segue from that quote to claude seemed significant somehow. I was wondering if it was actually Mrs. Bennet. Something he got from her as he was taking her memories.

HRG was paired with Claude in the beginning! I wonder what happened to break them up. Sooooo glad to see CE again, although those hairdos are pretty funny looking. I don't remember hair like that 15 years ago. Heeee! And all black and white, to make it look like the past. Except we're really only going back to, like, 1990, not the 50's. ;D Something very not good went down between Claude and HRG. Somehow the decision was made to kill Claude, I'll bet. And probably HRG was the one assigned to put him down. I think the "black and white" choice is deliberate, to highlight Daddy Bennett's "gray-hattedness." Or, y'know, so it seems to me.

wow. wow. (i can't stop saying wow tonight!) HRG just keeps getting a darker shade of grey. Seriously? The way tonight's show ended, he seemed about as light a gray as he could get. I was amazed. AWESOME roller-coaster ride in the last two acts...

Do they intend to pair Matt with the HRG? Since the Haitian - let's give him a name - how about 'Angel'? He is like Claire's guardian angel. Or is he going to be paired with that dark-haired woman? She wasn't the woman who met with Ted and could manipulate wifi stuff, was she?

So let's all hate the non-Mohinder previouslies... Mr. Neglected Muggles. So ted is melting his way in... This has GOT to leave some radiation behind, even if he's got it clean enough that he's just emitting neutrinos. Thank god Janice is pregnant, as Matt's not gonna have a motile sperm cell ever again. Matt, you KNOW what the right course of action regarding capturing Bennett is: you are NOT doing it. Claire has pretty much blown her cover. Bennett didn't do anything to either of you. Matt trying to defuse things... 15 years back.. So who's Bennett's boss? he looks familiar. This is 1992? Partner to keep him honest. CLAUDE!!!! So that's how they know each other. REALLY blown cover. Oh, Claire, you are SO busted... Step away from the radioactive man... Well, Claire's safe, but everyone else in the room is screwed. Huh. This means that Ted has a sort of subset of Claire's power in addition to the radioactivity. Otherwise he'd be deadydeaddead. Julia Robert's big brother Eric.

Wow! Wow! Wow! one of my favorite episodes! such great TV the last 2 nights, BSG and now Heroes. I loved the sacrifice HRG made for claire. I always said he wasnt a bad guy, he may have been misguided in the company he worked for, like he said "I'll do what I always have, what I am told to do."
I really hope we have not seen the last of him, just a great character! Cant wait to see where claire and the hatian go next (New York, New York) (hello daddy)
So Hiro's dad must be in tight with Linderman! this should throw a mean twist in for Hiro. Wonder if Daddy knows Hiro is a Hero.
absolutely loved Claire's healing scenes, 1st with the bullett, then the radiation was way too cool!
Just WOW!

This show gets us both so revved we're wondering if it's suitable pre-bedtime entertainment. (We're old, what can I say?)
I was both moved and saddened by the final scene. I'm left wondering how much of HRG's memory of Claire is now wiped. Will he now go back to being just a "company man"? Will he now be simply one among Claire's hunters?
