Wireless! And Mr. Bennet's glasses are no longer horn-rimmed! The world's gone mad. Mad, I tell you! This world must not come to be. It must be an ex . . . nay, a never world! Well. Except Peter should still be that cool. And Hiro. Um. Only without all the icky stuff that happened along hte way.

Man. That was almost too intense for us mere mortals to handle. Thank God Erin is the one reviewing it... ;D

I'm not saying this just because I like Matt or Greg Grunberg...
I think we needed more of a reason than losing his family to explain why Matt became the person he did. 'Cause I have a hard time believing the guy we know could become the guy we saw without something catastrophically shitty happening to him along the way.

It is hard to see him so...angry. it's hard for me to see how bitter and jaded he's gotten. i wonder what happened there... It boggles the mind. The last time we saw him he went off with Bennett and what's his name - the nuclear guy.

HRG called Matt and co? Matt! You are soooooo wrong. Wrong. Wrong. Wrong. They've been Ok with HRG helping the "harmless" ones. WTF. Matt!? !?? ?! He just croaked them. Just took the location of Claire and croaked them. Elope? No. Run. Run, run, run, run, run like you've never run in your short little mutated life. "If you could save millions of lives, wouldn't you?" Oh, Hiro. That's the ultimate question, isn't it? Yep. Ando is dead in this future. And his death not only caused Hiro's loss of "hope and optimism", but set him on the path of wanting to change things. To save Ando. That is just so perfectly true to his character. Mohinder tells Nathan about the way to stop the bomb. Stupid move, Mo-mo. You don't think he wants things just as they are? Yup. He's gonna lie and say they can "fix" this, then they start dying. "Then, it'll just be united." Linderman's vision. He wants Suresh to do it? Because that will prove his loyalty. And hold him prisoner to his decision. Crap. Claire. "You made them afraid of us." "I made everyone away of us." Yeah. But not aware of you. HOLY Motherfucker! What th . . . . . Sylar.

Totally terrific episode tonight!
Any longtime comix readers reminded of X-MEN #141-142 ("Days of Future Past", classic Claremont/Byrne, with the time traveler coming back in time to prevent the future genoicide of mutants by changing a seminal event)
Still, a slightly different spin on it. In the comic book, the event that had to be prevented was that of a murder; in Heroes, we're told that the only event that can prevent the future is a killing by a man who is not and has no desire to become, a killer. Poor Hiro - will he have to pay this price to save the world?
I figured out, before the commercial break, that Mo-mo was gonna stick L'Haitien with the fatal drug rather than Hiro. But Sylar's masquerade caught me by surprise.
Maybe Faux-Nathan bought Peter by allowing his child to escape the mutant roundup; and then Peter, knowing he was working for Sylar, became hardened and callous because of his own actions...
And Peter - wow!
GAIL

OMG, OMG, OMG. Ok. Calm down. Try to get through the end of the ep without having a stroke. **deep breaths** Ando: "You're still a hero." Oh, damn they are just so cute and good for each other. Peter talking to Nikki. "Jessica is gone. D.L. is gone. Micah is gone." She thinks of what Jessica would say, look out for yourself, don't get attached. But Jessica cared about Micah, in her own way. And about you, Nikki. "The bomb. It was me." Oh, wow. Wow oh wow. This is why Peter has to change things. His reason, like Hiro's reason. "Let's go fix it." Damn. Damn, that man is just made of all kinds of goodness and hotness. Whew! HOLY moley, great googly moogly! Mohinder just killed the Haitian. He . . . whoa. That was the plan. Get Matt away so he doesn't know what's happening. Take out the Haitian. That lets them attack the center. Get to past Hiro. And Isaac saw it all. Wrote it all. No wonder he was smiling as he died. Hiro and Ando so happy to see each other again. **gets misty eyed** The President flies! 'Cuz he knows it's all or nothing now. He's the only one with a shot at stopping things, since the Haitian is dead. Nathan!Sylar versus Peter. Peter knows his brother couldn't do that! Whoa. Power against Power. This is awesome! Scary and awesome. Go, go go gogogogogogogogo Hiro. Get. The. Hell. Out. Of. There!!!!! "I believe in you." Oh, can I just swoon now from the loveliness of these two guys? Ando and Hiro! Whew! Oh my, that was . . . . bracing. Whew. "Now, the hard part." **collapses completely**

It is hard to see him so...angry. it's hard for me to see how bitter and jaded he's gotten. i wonder what happened there... I wonder if it was all just what happened in NY, the explosion? Or was it his child having to be hidden and . . . Or just all of it? So bitter when he blamed Hiro for all of it. You made us all choose sides. It's important to remember these changes. Because what each person turned out to be is due to a bit of what is inside them. What happened to them, yes. But also the kind of person they are. So we need to be on the lookout.

Looks like Candace Hana bought it. And damn. Matt's gone to the limit. And beyond. "Let's elope" never works.. Uh-oh. Fiancee is gonna find out that she's a jew talent... Wonder how he'll take it? GAH! MATTHEW!!! DAMMIT! Daddy Bennett didn't hold out! Mohinder has done so many MORE things allegedly to just save millions of lives... yep, Ando is SO dead. "He went away the day you died" It was important that Ando learned that. **joins you, spinning madly** I'm completely wiped out just from watching this ep, I tell ya!!!

This is freakin' cool!! Well, except for the fact that Sylar is running the show, has killed Claire - Matt is a wackaloon and killed both Wireless and Daddy Bennett. Freaky and cool. Freaky to the nth degree. Freak with a side of McFreak fries.
