Now that Hiro and Ando are back from the future, let's hope they can keep all that stuff in the last episode from happening. Particularly EvilMatt, 'cause I really didn't like him...

So, here's a spoiler-related quandary:
I have a speculation about an ongoing plotline that I thought I'd share. But my idea is based on knowledge I gained from visiting the web site belonging to Wireless. The site is run by NBC, and even features video of Wireless starring the actress who plays her on the show. So while I feel pretty confident that what's to be found on the site can be considered canon, explaining my guess would still involve sharing information that has not yet been presented on the show itself (although I suspect it will be very soon).
Thus, I put the question to you guys: would I be okay sharing my theory, or would it be spoilage?

It's amazing that the most frightening character from the future turned out to be Matt.

It's amazing that the most frightening character from the future turned out to be Matt. I totally agree. But I still feel like I needed a better reason as to why he became the guy he did than having to be separated from his wife and son; I simply don't believe that alone would be enough to turn him into the guy we saw in "Five Years Gone." Either that or some indication that Sylar was corrupting/altering Matt's personality. But that's just me. YMMV and all that.

My guess is that Matt's turn to the dark side started with those diamonds he didn't hand over to the police, but I'm with you - I need more justification.

My guess is that Matt's turn to the dark side started with those diamonds he didn't hand over to the police, but I'm with you - I need more justification. Started with the diamonds, but yeah, I've got to think that other stuff happened too, I'm geussing. Happened when they didn't manage to stop the explosion; happened when he and his wife split and their child was on the run; happened when he made some "deals with the devil" to keep the child safe; happened the first time he chose (was "forced" to choose, he'd say) expediency over his conscience; happened faster and faster with each additional choice once he started down that path; happened as he encounted people who hate the folks with powers; happened as he saw the 'civil war', so to speak, between the people with powers fighting each other; happened when the government chose a side as well and he found himself attaching his duty/love of his country to the side the government picked. I imagine that it was a bunch of stuff like that. And, yeah, it's scary because Matt is, of all the mutants, one of the ones who is "ordinary guy" for us in the present. And so, if ordinary guy can turn out like that, well then any one of us could too.

*bounce bounce bounce* I SO love Hiro. "Look what I got you! A new sibling!" "you end up being my niece. This isn't random. This is destiny. This was MEANT to be, to piss of thousands of fanficcers!" She knows something he don't know! This has got to be the freakiest "Buddy" movie on record. Sure, Ted, that will be fine, just so long as we don't mind cooking our nads as we go. "finds you wherever you are." "Walker system"? Great. he nuked the alternator. "You don't get the luxury of regret" Please, Mo-mo. Don't fall for this bullshite.

Niki has the maternal insticts of a sea turtle.
And Candice. Think Micah might notice, save that she acts enough like Niki....
What's a gunda?
Mohinder whips out his big hairy ones.
Oh!! The little girl was the one hidden in the house Sylar attacked the first time Parkman manifested his talent!!
Oh! The little one is adorable!!! Wonder what power she has!
So long as he has Ando, he will be fine. he darkness will not consume him. Save Ando, and save the world, Hiro.
And save your own arse, and get the heck out of there.
Scurry, little Nipponese men, scurry!
Crap. Mega-hearing.

Interesting. The comic doesn't give them the words? Did Isaac not finish more? Or is their copy only a parital? Will they need to go find the comic publisher once they learn that Isaac is dead? And they better not go there when Sylar is still there. Interesting that Peter is drawing right now too. So, he's paralleling Sylar in that way as well. Mother Petrelli getting ready to get Clarie away and Peter lays down some other ideas. Them meeting wasn't random, it was "destiny"; that she has to save the world. (Well, that's not really what future!Hiro said, though. He said "save her, save the world" not that she saves the world.) And because of Claire, he finds out more about Ted - the original exploding man. Nice how they then seque to Ted and Matt and HRG (some filler about not contacting family and about the tracking) and then to Sylar. Things are connecting up. Sylar is . . . . seeing only a part of the future? Or not understanding it all? Interesting. This could be a weakness both he and Peter face. They have so many powers, they can't put all their energy into one and really use it fully, perhaps? Isaac had to draw lots and lots and lots of images and live with them, put them together, etc. in order to really understand the full picture of the future. (Assuming he really was seeing it all by the time he was killed.)
