Seeing as how Hiro saw the newspaper headline "Landslide!" in the second episode, it's a nice bit of mirroring to have it be the name of the penultimate episode of the season, no?

Yeah, dissing Nathan's dad may not have been the right approach...

Peter controls himself. But . . . would shooting him really stop him? Wouldn't he just heal and then start nuking again? I love the way Ando is now the positive one, keeping Hiro's hopes up. "It's still sharp." I think that is meaningful! And while Hiro is all "destiny made a mistake", Ando finds someone to fix the sword. "My name is Hiro Nakamura and the fate of the world is in your hands!" Heeeee! ;D Does HRG know the "tracking system" is a little girl? Or does he just know they have a way to do it, but not how they do it? Claire knows there is no "normal" for them anymore (yay, Claire). I love how she puts it so simply - maybe their destiny is to save the world together. Key point, together! Oh, crap. As as they plan to leave, Sylar listens. I sooooooooo hope they are deliberately misleading him. But I also think that is unlikely.

Linderman is awfully damn chipper. I think he is so very certain the explosion will happen because of the pictures. But Isaac drew them and yet he also understood more than what Linderman is currently thinking/seeing. Nathan is having a few issues. And he really doesn't like you saying that stuff about his dad. Interesting that his dad was "one of us", but then "gave up" and was "weak". Makes me wonder if it was more murder than suicide. Mrs. P really doesn't like Linderman. Oh, crap. He's gonna heal her. What, he couldn't do that earlier, if he was gonna do it? Plus, it's only fair since I think he put her in the chair originally. Wonder how they'll spin that? Announce it before or after the election? Is she worth more votes as the noble wheelchair-bound wife or as a miracle? Even though she doesn't know all that is going on, she still is giving good advice, Nathan. You don't have to sell your soul. Heeeee! Claire and Peter and Ted planning on how to be heroes. (No capes! ;D) Hiro still has such confidence in Nathan - in "flying man". "The future hasn't happened yet!" Ohhhh. Those heartbreaking lines "you become a bad person, but you don't have to, come with us" - "you are a villian! a villian!!". And Nathan just gives that public smile and leaves. "No one can stop it." Yes they can, Nathan!! And you could help! DL and Jessica. The know that where Nathan is, Linderman must not be too far away. But where is Micah? The sword fixing guy - oooooh, the symbol! Oooooooooooo! Hiro's daddy! "You've reached the end of your jouney"? WTF?

Yeah, dissing Nathan's dad may not have been the right approach... Nathan did not look happy. No, not one tiny little bit.

Daddy stayed to watch Hiro's "progress"? Poor Ando! "You have to save me. Don't go." Awwwww. She got Micha comics? The original Silver Surfer? Dude! So, did she steal it, did Linderman already have it, or is she just making it look like that comic? I wonder if she mistakenly got him Isaac's comic. ;D "You're nice, even when you're scary." (I don't think so, but then again, Micah is used to Jessica being his mom, so he may have a different standard. ) "Why are you working for such a bad guy." She doesn't think Linderman is a bad guy. Hmmmmm. "People can be so mean" based on things like how you look. Ah. So, there is something "wrong" with the way she looks, and that's how her power manifested. "He's going to heal the world." (So, she's a believer in the mission, eh? Or just going along because she gets what she wants and is saying the party line?) "I didn't know it was sick." Heee! Cute and very obvious come back line. Made fresh by coming from a kid. Linderman tells Micah that he can save a whole lot of lives and then says if he "does what he's told", him and mom and dad will get a bunch of money to live happily ever after. Uh huh. I thought you said you weren't going to talk down to him, like the "other" adults. Peter and Claire tell Ted about Sylar. (Icky creepy Sylar!) Oh crap. Matt's federal agent buddy nabs Ted. And Sylar tipped them off. So, he just wants Ted held somewhere where he can get to him easy, like Guantanamo, eh? (Hey, don't laugh! It's true. He knows the prison will hold Ted, unless he totally nukes it, but it won't stop him.) Hiro's daddy. "I've been waiting a long time for a Nakamura to ascend." Oooooh! And Hiro is "worthy" of their family's legacy and his power? Oooooooooh! Good - tells him he doesn't need the sword, the journey is what restored his power. (You had it with you all the time, Hiro. Now, click your heels three times . . . ) Hmmmm. Mr. Nakamura had "allies" and they fought to save the world until some lost the way. I wonder if he's on Linderman's side or against it? (He seems to want him to kill the villian.) Does each side think the other side is the one that lost the mission? He's gonna teach Hiro to fight? Oh, yeah!! Kickass Sulu Mr. Nakamura with a sword! Go, daddy, go!

why did sylar suddenly decide to kill a whole bunch of, as he would put it, ordinary people?
i don't really get it.
(also, apparently in the heroes' new york city, legs don't atrophy from disuse...)
