This is a fic from the Post NFA ficathon, linked in the 3/29/05 edition of the Sunnydale Herald; it's by Jaded Cynic, PG, Spike, Angel, and Faith and the reality of Wes's death: www.livejournal.com/users/jadedcynic/44824.html#cutid1Julia, lovely thing, from a writer I hadn't read before

It's not that I'm recommending Uberaeryn out of proportion to other writers just because I like her writing a lot, it's also because she's just writing a whole lot more than anyone else these days. This is for a ficatathon called "The Happy Wes Ficathon", the master list of which I am yet to find. Post NFA, with S/A going on as background noise, Illyria loves Angel's stapler, and, eventually Wesley loves her PG, maybe PG-13 if you're really averse to the mention of gay pairings: www.livejournal.com/users/uberaeryn/67368.html?#cutid1Julia, loving the stapler porn

Speaker-to-Customers has completed "The Good, the Bad, and Cordelia Chase," his take on "The Wish," in which Cordelia is central and instrumental to summoning Buffy and defeating the Master's mass production human exsanguination plans. The final sections trail off a bit, noting subsequent changes in this alternate Wishverse that flow from the Master's defeat, but the whole is lively and enjoyable. www.speaker-to-customers.me.uk/buffyverse/gbcc.htm

Was there really a bright yellow teapot on the show? That must have sunk into my subconscious mind and surfaced without my realising it. I thought I was inventing the teapot. The ficlet is a birthday present for Jerusha Hancock alias Enigmaticblues, who has a nickname of 'Miss Sassy Teapot', and it was just a contrivance to work a reference to her nickname into the story.

I'm not sure; if there was it'd be in Joyce's kitchen, I think, as she had a lot of yellow stuff. There is a chrome yellow version of the classic Pristine teapot at The Tea Lady in Olympia (where one can also get McVittie's and Branson Pickle). Julia, loved the story

DutchBuffy has completed "Take Heart," a wild multi-part S/B romp that takes off from the defeat of Adam. The Scoobies were conjoined...and it didn't quite take. Spike has to take a hand. And several brains. And eventually Buffy.... It's complete at her site: home.planet.nl/~dutchbuffy2305/index.htm

"Tigress in a Cage" by Tesla321. Buffy contemplates Spike, the bot, and her place in the universe, post "Smashed." This is not a happy little romp, but it feels extremely true: www.livejournal.com/users/tesla321/140037.html?#cutid1Julia, tight little package of thoughty goodness, this one

So, since it keeps sleeting when I want to go out and photograph things with my new camera, I've been mousing around looking for fic; this was in the Buffy Fiction Archive. Faith and Xander, waiting in a graveyard for a vampire to rise, and conversations about things Xander, in particular, would rather not discuss. "The Rising" by Ainsonsmy: archive.shriftweb.org/archive/31/therising.htmlThis is very good, except for some small but glaring injections of non American idiom into Xander's thoughts, and the appearance of a totally unlikely flavor of icecream at the Seven-11. Julia, picky, and proud of it

This could be pre-slash, but given its overwhelmingly unslashy nature, I'm putting it here. Thanks to a recommendaton from Headrush. Xander home from a long time in Africa, Giles trying to give him a safe place to land. PG. Mad With July,"Keep From Singing:" www.livejournal.com/users/mad_with_july/67504.html#cutid1Julia, another of those near-poetry viginettes
