Whereas this refers to a WIP ("Seven Years in the Desert") Spikewriter's "Word of the Day" pieces exist as grace notes to this theme; this one is from the period after Giles and Anya have married and Spike joined the council, but before Kenneth and Lydia are officially a couple: www.livejournal.com/users/spikewriter/360823.html?mode=replyJulia, loving Anya's way of diffusing badly timed discussion

Something wrong with that link; I clicked on it and was taken to Chapter 14 of an NC-17 Spander story called 'Irony'. I went back over a couple of days on that community looking for the fic you mentioned but there was no sign of it whatsoever, and the community turns out to be entirely for Spike/Xander slash. S-t-C

Was just coming over to recommend this, too. FUNNY! Although by my standards, probably R rather than PG-13, since there is (funny, touching) lovemaking, and a discussion of the mechanics of lesbian porn. Julia, funny, funny piece, though

One of the nice things about Uberaeryn's "That Rawks Awards" was picking up some fics I'd missed. This is from last August, when I was devouring everything Yindagger had on any archive, but was not aware she'd become Secondverse. It's canon friendly, mid BtVS s5, and "gen"- Xander, Buffy, and the demands of friendship, R for realism "Skin through the Trees:" www.livejournal.com/users/secondverse/122833.html?view=2899153Julia, it could so easily be true

Elisi, for Summer of Spike, wrote "Lost Soul" in 8 parts. In Ats S5, Spike's soul is stolen. The fallout is widespread and unexpected. Part 1 is here. Each part has a link to the one following at the end of the part.

Written for Summer of Spike by The Deadly Hook: Heaven, Spike/Buffy. A beautiful piece of work. Heaven

Herself has a new substantial short tale of Buffy and Spike finding one another, completely by chance, in NYC a few years on from NFA--"A Totally Random Occurrence." It's sexually explicit and far less angst-ridden than much of her fic. Lots of joy and love, though. The only link I could make is to the site itself. Follow Herself's portion, then scroll down the list until you find the tale. The site is here.
