Orange Park is actually part of Jacksonville, I use to live in Jacksonville, so I know this. So that would be very likely. OKay, new line of attack.. do we have any S'cubies that currently live in Jacksonville? Vlad

Vlad, I just talked to my husband. He is a firefighter. He suggests calling an ambulance in her area, tell them that she is diabetic and tell them how long it has been since she has been heard from. Combine that info with the fact that her mail and newspaper hasn't been picked up and her neighbors haven't seen her either. They will most likely want to have the cops go in her home and the cops will most likely have to comply with the EMS request. Not to be alarming, but the fact that she is diabetic will most likely make them want to check it out. Anyway, just a suggestion. That isa good suggestion! I will relay it to Shan who is doing hte local contact numbers for emergency stuff... Vlad

I found this post by Patti, in June of 2004: So Cal did go to A&M - as did Patti. Texas A&M may have some info . . . their alumni association is not likely to be answering phones at this hour, but maybe campus cops? Or could the Houston police be persuaded to ask the campus cops for info?

One thing I noticed - Patti says here that her brother graduated from A&M, while "Robert Cal Thompson" in his post, says that he did NOT get his degree from there. So - "Robert" may not be the right "Cal" Thompson after all.

I'm on the line with the police and they say they'll break in if I take custody of the house. How do I do that?

You go there and arrange for the locks to be repaired after they break in. I did this when Rich's dad's house had to be broken into because he'd fallen and lain on the floor for 36 hours. It wasn't difficult--lock companies are equipped for repairs at all hours.
