Guys,
Went ahead and started Part Two. If we want to delete it, that's cool. I just thought it might be more efficient if we started a new part.
Should we have the same criteria for starting a new part that we did on ScoopMe?

JW is famous for *not* giving fans exactly what they want but probably the overwhelming response to the platinum vampire will dictate Spike's maintaining some foothold in the demonic- Joss has always said he believes in giving the audience not what they want but instead what they need -- basically explaining why it is he makes us cry so often. He wants to go in deep and get the big emotional response. In a way, though, don't we watch the show wanting to cry as much as we want to laugh? Otherwise, we'd watch Fraiser or Friends instead of Buffy. So in the end, he does give us what we want. Regardless of what Joss does with Spike, we can be sure that Joss'll give a lot of thought toward it and it will be that choice which will probably be the most interesting and compelling over a long stretch. If they make him human, it will be interesting. And if it isn't, Joss will have Angel turn him back into a vampire quickly.

Guys, Should we go ahead and start a new part? We're already on to page 40 and, if activity picks up soon, who knows what page will be on in two days? Is that cool if we go ahead and start one? I don't mind staying in this one but I think if we started a new one, it might be easier for people to catch up. They won't have to scroll through 40+ pages (because the first 30 or so pages were just tests pretty much). I'm thinking since most of what's still happening is people playing around with the board, we might was well just let this posting string go on, and then when we're sure ScoopMe is down permanently (intended to mean in June when it's supposed to go down, but now if they decided to not worry about bringing it back up), start a new, S'cubie part 1, all fresh. That's my vote.

I also think that his face, at least, would probably not look so old if he had been following the beauty regimen of the girls. Ditto DB. I think that the boys have not worried enough about aging and being immortal. . You think James Marsters looks OLD? People all over are still having difficulty believing he is 40... I think he looks terrific. He is just no longer being made up the same way as he was in seasons previous, to show the more human side of his personality, I think.

Okay folks, I am trying out a new feature on this board. Since we are done with the Part One Thread, I am locking it so no further posts may be made. I understand it can be unlocked at some future point should I need to, but I have not tried this function yet.
Isn't this jsut a big fun learning experience for us all? *laugh*
See you over in Part 2 or 3 or whatever is the current part by the time you read this.
