"It's Raining Men" was co-written by Paul Shaffer. Bizarre, but true.

Your friend too lazy to drive 30 minutes further? When you get to this neck of the woods, we'll have to do lunch or something. Of course, that invite is open to every S'cubie -- I'd love the chance to meet each and everyone of you in all three glorious dimensions! I don't think so, but I didn't ask either.

Rick James is also not correct, though I have a fascinating factoid on him. Did you know that he was in a 60's R&B group with Neil Young? It's true. It's damn true. That must've been quite the live act. I'm glad they're not together now...it'd be a tough segue to go from "Needle and the Damage Done" to "Superfreak." Neil's earlier work wasn't quite so politically motivated. His early stuff with CSNY was pretty decent, but then he went to "Ohio" and started trying to save the world with his songs. So far it hasn't worked. Sort of wish Sting would have learned from Neil's mistake and stayed with the Police, but alas, he had dreams of blue turtles to pursue. Still, you're right, sort of hard to see Neil and Rick working together. That's even weirder than Neil with CSN, considering his wanting to save the world and their interest in just getting high and avoiding it all. M.C. Hammer?

You take me to a Starbucks and I'll follow you anywhere ;D I'm sure I might be able to find a Starbucks around here somewhere. Hell, in downtown Washington, you can't swing a dead cat without breaking a window at a Starbucks.

Awww ... you know, it's so nice to be missed by so many sexy ladies (ok, the guys too). Damn, how I wish you guys lived closer. Then I could really give you something to miss. Or not..... Well, we've been talking up a big S'cubie gathering, but that's gonna be way too long away.

"It's Raining Men" was co-written by Paul Shaffer. Bizarre, but true. Paul Shaffer is a bizzarre guy. So not really all that surprising. And somehow, I can't help but wonder if he originally wrote it for himself, but the record producer said, "Sorry Paul, the public just isn't that open minded. How about we let some girls sing it instead ...."

Well you should see it in Seattle . . . they are about every 20 ft . . . at least it seems that way . . and if it's not Starbucks, then it's Tulley's or Seattle Bests. Starbucks is the official coffee at Safeco Field (where the Mariner's play). Sure comes in handy for those baseball games I go to since our summers don't arrive til July 5th.

I got rid of them. They are currently eating chocolate and watching Harry Potter, which they love. They are back. . .I knew it wouldn't last longer but I am an optimist. I could tell a rude story at this point about perserverence, but I will be polite. Kerrie....this is really funny, from the viewpoint of someone who DOESN'T have children pestering them! LOL!

(Quietly, so as not to bring wrath down on her head), I was disappointed in MR. Some good stuff, but basicly style over substance. Too much special effects. Too much flying thru the air, too little heart.
Also, the Hulk sucked swamp water. All I could think was: "Will this movie never end?!"

Hammer any more. I suppose it's possible some people will look back fondly at Hamma....sort of like the affection for ABBA that resurfaced over the last few years. I doubt it, though. He screwed up a lot of good grooves as far as I'm concerned....and that's about it.
