Let me add my voice to the throngs calling for more reviews! More Spring! More Spring! More. . .! ;D Seriously, your reviews are what brought me here and we've all seen how that's turn out, haven't we? ;D I'm darn proud of you, Onjel! Thanks for providing encouragement. Things did not go so great this week, when it comes to thinking I was getting some relief from some of my major challenges . . . in fact, I have to work most of this weekend. BUT, that doesn't mean it is hopeless. Next weekend is a possibility, especially with the July 4 holiday in the mix for the week after.

I want to add my voice (again!) to the growing number of people waiting on the edge of their seats for season 6! After all, that is the most spikealicious season of all! He is all over the place in season 6 and looking very fine, if I may say so. Also, it has the musical episode, which is one episode that I have been dying to know your particular perspective on, and Tabula Rasa.

I have been dying to write my perspective on that! So that helps with the motivation to move forward. Here's how it is looking: This coming weekend, I will catch up on the million things I couldn't get done last weekend, because I had to come into work Sat & Sun. Then on Wed, July 4, I can do extra stuff to try to leave my July Jul 7 & 8 weekend mostly free . . . and get a review done that weekend. Then I'll try to keep up the "ways to carve out time" strategy going, with the idea of doing at least one a month. I can't promise it, and that's still a slow pace, but if I can acheive it, it's progress!

Yea, yea, yea! I am keeping my fingers crossed and holding my breath! (wow, all those different smilies and not one holding his breath. I had to settle for a vampire.)

I suffered a bit of a set back in my week's plans due to this unexpected illness - I am currently in a neck brace! The doc wasn't sure what caused it, but I have what he described as a "Charlie-horse in your neck." It's excruitiatingly painful, and I spent the first day practically unable to move. It is better today, but I'm still in the brace and moving very slowly and carefully. I am trying to get a lot of rest and not strain it farther, in the hopes that, by this weekend, I'll be back to normal enough to do the review. I can't do it like this, as using the computer is something that I can only do in short bursts. I'd say the odds are in my favor, if recovery continues at this pace. I'm still pretty bad, but I am a lot better today than yesterday.

Sigh, still waiting and checking hopefully each day, only to be disappointed to see no new reviews of Buffy, Angel or Heroes. (I know Spring only does Buffy, but those are the reviews I want to read more of!)

(I know Spring only does Buffy, but those are the reviews I want to read more of!) Hi, lilac! I had hoped to get one done this weekend, but I had a unexpected occurrence last week - a painful neck problem that left me in a neck collar and taking muscle relaxers and Vicodin for several days . . . which put everything off schedule. Having said all that, I did make SOME progress this past weekend. Just not done yet though. My goal is to try to do one a month, starting with July.

Hi Spring~
I don't post much, but had to speak up here--I have had the SAME thing happen with my neck...twice. While in grade school, nonetheless. They really have no idea what caused it, and it was INCREDIBLY painful, even when hopped up on muscle relaxers.
The first time, mine literally lasted a month or so. I hope yours is shorter lived.
Strange thing...both times, I literally felt my neck snap back into place...at least that's the best I could describe it. I turned my head without thinking, felt a snapping feeling, a lot of pain...but then I could move my neck.
No doctor could explain what I felt.
I still pull my neck every time I'm at a drive-up ATM. I feel it in that same place...
A heating pad seemed to help me, you might want to try if you haven't already.

It's been almost two weeks and I am still not at 100% - but it is a lot better. The first day, I really could not move hardly at all. The pain was sooo bad, I couldn't walk five steps without stopping to let the resultant pain pass. Well, if you have had this happen to you, I don't need to tell you how awful it is. The pain-killers and muscle relaxants just make it TOLERABLE, the first couple of days. And yes, heat does help. I have to work much of this weekend, but plan to continue my progress on the next review, to have it up this month.

Sorry to hear about your neck problems, Spring. Hope you're feeling better soon! {{{Spring}}} Still looking forward to the next Spikecentricity analysis! And I promise I won't mention my Spring Fever dinner with JM...no, not even once. I mean, would I really do that?? Now, would I? You know I'd NEVER brag about something like that! ;D
