Hi, I'm a newbie here. I never got into BtVS when it first aired, though I did watch a few episodes of Angel. However, I got bitten recently and I'm completely obsessed now. I watched all 7 seasons of Buffy and the first 3 of Angel in just under a month. You can imagine what my laundry pile looks like now. Anyway, I just wanted to add my sincere and polite request for more of your reviews, particularly for Season 6. I've really enjoyed your analysis. Love Spike. Love him. James Marsters was simply remarkable. After Spike gains his soul, he even managed to change his face somehow. It seems softer almost. Welcome to the S'cubies!

Hello, just checking in to see if there were any new reviews (hint, hint) I'm still holding out hope. My baby is 6 months old now and she likes to watch Buffy with me too, lol! Must be from me watching it while she was in utero. I have a belly moving video on Youtube where you can hear Buffy in the background!

It means a lot to me to know that people are still interested, and I appreciate you letting me know. I've had major challenges in my life that have made this difficult. I was hoping to get back into the groove, but it didn't happen. It looks like we're in for a long cold winter in Ohio, though, and that might lend itself to spending some time working on reviews. I would love to finish!!

Love, love, love your Spikecentricity reviews. Just read "The Weight of the World", and you've convinced me that I really need to re-watch Season 6 to more freshly understand it.
Thanks!

Thank you for letting me know you are enjoying the reviews. We're watching S6 for the summer and discussing over in the BtVS thread and in this one, as I do reviews . . . please join us!

Hello, just stopped by to see what was new! It's been so long and although I was happy to see a 'new' review, I devoured it so quickly that I was not satiated I don't know if I should be happy that the 'new' review was so old (May 2009) and hope that more will be coming soon or saddened that perhaps there will never be any more. As the single mother of a boisterous 2 year old, I understand how life can get in the way of the things that we mean to do, but I just wanted to remind you that there are still some of us holding out hope, waiting patiently. I have loved the Buffy series from the time that I first started watching, but now I look at it with new eyes and I yearn for more insight. Please, don't leave us hanging for long, Spring!

Just came to Buffy (and a Spike obsession) in January, and am now rewatching all episodes. I've read extensively about the series, in particular Spike, but these are the best reviews I've come upon. Thank you! I hope there will be more!

Thank you! I hope there will be more! Thanks, baunger1, for letting me know you are reading. I am currently going through my Buffy DVD's one ep at a time, and am at S3. When I get to S6 (which isn't that far away, since I watch one a day), I will try to use that viewing to get my reviews current through S6. I have a crazy life, and plans often go astray. But I haven't forgotten the reviews . . . I've just learned not to make absolute promises. And it is always great to hear from BtVS fans like you. Thanks again!

Hi Spring, I commented on your After Life review a while back. I'm glad to hear that you are hoping to get back to reviews; they're truly some of the best writing on BtVS I've seen. It's obvious from reading them that they are written with great care and great love for the series and all its characters, though obviously you give extra focus to Spike and his role in Buffy's life. Just thought I'd chime in with general encouragement. I also have a thought on "Family" that I'm going to put in that thread!

I'm almost to the end of S3 in my rewatching of Buffy, so I should get to S6 in a couple of months. It really tempts me to do S3 as well though - lots of good stuff in S3. I would love to just take 6 mos off work and do every episode, but well, that's not gonna happen anytime soon.

Oh yes, so much goodness in season 3 too. Well, on the plus side, regarding the limited amount of time you have, the series (and the fandom, for that matter) isn't going anywhere....

Hi Spring
I'm a brand new member, having been directed to SoulfulSpike from (of all places) Wikipedia. I was going to be very upset that your reviews seemed to end with S6 eps 1 & 2, so I'm glad to see Afterlife appear. Your work is wonderful, please keep it up.

Life has been extremely challenging the last few years, and the reviews slowed way down. I do hope to get back to them.

Are the reviews now gone? I get the message that I can't connect to the server. Love, love, love your reviews. I've been re-watching them before AND after reading your reviews. Just finished New Moon Rising and really looking forward to The Yoko Factor but I can't get it.
