I'm back! Rewatching Buffy, so rereading your amazing analysis of the episodes. Still hoping for new reviews after 8 years... Just want you to know you are not forgotten. I would so love to read your insights into the final episodes and Angel as well! <3

I sometimes think of restarting the reviews, but life has been very challenging for the last few years. I can make no promises, I can only say that I haven't completely given up on the idea of finishing the reviews.

I'm happy that you haven't given up on the idea of reviews. I'm so sorry to hear that you are still facing challenges that prevent you from focusing on the lovely Spike. He really is a beautiful man and an amazing actor, isn't he? The raw emotions that play across his face, the believability, whether he is being horrible, caring, seductive, sarcastic, funny, or whatever, I believe it all and I fall in love with him all over again; lol! Ah, tv heroes and antihero, raising our hopes unrealistically since god knows when. I just wanted you to know that there are still people here that return to your reviews, more analysis than review, and can't help but want more.

I just wanted you to know that there are still people here that return to your reviews, more analysis than review, and can't help but want more. I really appreciate that, lilac. The challenges these days aren't so sad, but they are still challenges. After I lost my son in 2009, it took a couple of years to feel like I was back on my feet, and I started doing fostering. I missed my son, and I missed being a mom . . . I couldn't do anything about the former, but it hit me that I COULD do something about the latter. So I did. So that started several years of CRAZY! I ended up adopting two teenage sisters . . then I started doing some short term care for babies going into foster care, because I love babies, but also because the teens kept talking about how much they wanted babies. Real life experience changed their tunes, though. There were some other things, too. Just a couple of weeks ago, a two year old boy I had for several months went home, some things happened that have helped the girls settle down, and I'm almost feeling like maybe I COULD get going again. I'd have to do some marathon BtVS watching to get in the swing. It's been so long since I watched. My life has been a total roller coaster ride, so I know better than to count on the lulls or make promises. But I do appreciate your note and hope all is well with you - Happy Holidays!

Hi, Spring! I guess I like to watch Buffy in the fall... I just wanted to say that I am so sad that the website is no longer working properly. I'm sad that I'll never again be able to read your amazing reviews and I'm sad for all the reviews of Doctor Who, Veronica Mars, and other shows that I didn't get around to reading while I had the chance. I know you've had some rough goings over the last nine years, but when we last 'talked' it seemed like things might be looking up for you! Any chance that you might have renewed your love of Buffy by binging it with your teens? Seriously, though, I have a friend that has just started watching Buffy for the first time and I went to get the link to your reviews to share with her and enhance her watching. Obviously, that was a bust. Do you have your reviews available anywhere else? I would honestly love to re-read them again myself, of course, but I would really love to share them with my friend as well. Here's to life treating you well!

OK. I created a facebook page for the S'cubies. Go here: www.facebook.com/groups/201737320248515/You do have to join FB to join the group. However, you can make your page then make it all very private and use your page just for the group. Our first mission is to try to save as much as we can from the old S3 site, and figure out how to take it from there.

OK. I started trying to rescue the old S3 site as best I can. The new site is here: buffyandmore.weebly.com/I am using the wayback machine, which is far from complete, for retrieval. If anyone has any files, of their own work or someone else's, that they want to make sure is included in the new site, send it my way. IM me her or go to my FB page and message me . . . whatever works!
