Ladies and gentlemen, welcome to part 44 of the Soulful Spike Society's ever evolving discussion on all things Spike and many things that aren't. While we have very few rules here, we do ask that you refrain from posting spoilers of any type -- even itty bitty ones -- anywhere except in the designated spoiler posting area. Beyond that, simply behave in a manner that you would wish others to behave toward you. Don't make me get my bullet, people. Oh, for the record, you don't have to be a Spike, AtS or BtVS fanatic to post here, but it helps..... And if you get a chance, be sure to check out our main site at www.soulfulspike.com. Be careful not to step on the dog, or fall in the jacuzzi as you navigate our many rooms. Lurk all you want, but please don't be afraid to say howdy! Have fun and happy posting!

Here's some websites for anyone interested in checking out Anthony Stewart Head's performance in the London Revival of the Rocky Horror Show (as opposed to the Rocky Horror PICTURE Show, which only applies to the movie version staring Tim Curry, Brian Bostwick and Susan Sarandon). The first I included at the end of Part 43 (along with a picture of ASH wearing my boa, and the brute still hasn't returned it), so if you already checked it out .... the nice thing about it is that it includes MP3s and streaming audio of "Sweet Tranvestite" along with some other tracks, as sung by ASH. www.rockymusic.org/cds/head.html www.eskimo.com/~gaspers/gaspers/frank.html

And you thought you could throw me off by moving to a new part.... Nyahahahaha!!!!!
I have new evidence proving that certain Walmarts are indeed run by chronologically challenged simians:
To wit, at least one Walmart in a small town in the Midwest put the latest Lemony Snickett out a day early. Some lucky fan got their hands on it and posted spoilers. My daughters have now been thoroughly spoiled (no, they were not already!).
Long live the Walmart monkey brigade! Mind you, I was in the local Walmart this morning, and they can read a calendar. Maybe it's a regional thing.

Trolling at the Big Bad Board - found the following URL that had me laughing out loud! It's a contest at the buffy guide forum for the best Ho-Yay! (fake) promotional poster for AtS, season 5. Wait'll you see them! Hilarious! forums.buffyguide.com/cgi-bin/wwwthreads/showthreaded.pl?Cat=&Board=regular&Number=537429595&page=1&view=collapsed&sb=5&o=4&fpart= Oh, these are funny. Somebody write to Phillip Reuben and invite him to post.

Oh, these are funny. Somebody write to Phillip Reuben and invite him to post. I wasn't able to see Phillip Reuben's. It said it was unavailable. *snicker* I saw them.

There's an online journal called "Refractory." And it has essays presented at a Buffy Symposium last November. Their publication, online, was in March--long before we knew (I think) that ScoopMe was gonna close.
So although I had this bookmarked, I don't know if we S'cubies ever took particular note of it.
It's not all that easy to navigate. You have to click on the given essay's listing, which takes you to the abstract, which is followed by a "more" link that takes you to the actual essay. Took me a try or two to get this.
Anyway, here's the URL. If this is material you've already seen, presumably you'll know that when you start reading. If not, it's very GOOD reading and I thought it might be worth bringing (again?) to your attention.

I'll also copy this into the "Interviews and Articles" thread. [/color]

I missed John! Although the way Anya's been sleeping (or not) I bet he's up right now. Hi, John! Good luck at the new job. What you need to do is get Lee to pass the NY bar and then you and Lee and Laura can start your own firm. Quiet day here - the weather has finally turned chilly which is only appropriate as it's the first day of fall, Keats' "season of mists and mellow fruitfulness." Thanks for reminding me about Lemony Snicket, Anne. I'm going into town this afternoon (after la table française at lunch) and I'll look for it then and surprise Halley. I don't even know if they're published in the States but it sounds like your girls might enjoy the Horrible History series which Halley is getting into over here. Worth checking out, at least.

Hey Dave.
I was watching the David Fury's Behind the Scenes feature of Once More with Feeling on the season 6 DVDs and I saw AH doing her version of the Mustard song. She was incredibly cute, even if her segment was very short.

She was incredibly cute, even if her segment was very short. I think I've seen it, as part of some behind the scenes stuff the E! produced. She was lip-synching, was she not? We can only hope, since the woman cannot sing, hence her two lines of sung dialogue during OMWF.
