Quite simply, the zipped versions are just smaller bites, but they'll move at the same rate of speed -- only they'll take less time to download. The smaller ones are possibly also a smaller frame size, or lower resolution, to accomodate the small size more. For those of us with high-speed modems, we have the opportunity to go for the higher resolution versions because, compared to dial-up, we can get them quickly. Yes, four hours may not seem fast, but on dial-up, it would be four years. And it probably takes someone with dial-up four hours to get the ones you get in 10 minutes. Thanks, David. Also...they're only beginning to start to begin thinking about attempting (maybe) to get the first of the zipped files available now...and then all the demand crashes the site (as per last week), as opposed to the bittorent version that's been posted since about 1 (EST). So I'll see what the 4 hour version looks like this time, assuming that after the 4 hour download, it will play.... I REALLY appreciate your explanation.

I'm hoping to break the 2000 post mark before I leave today. Let's see....I should have about 13 more to go. I can SO do that - oh wait, do they need to make sense? Because that might make it a little harder..... No they certainly don't need to make sense Lee . . . let's just keep posting about nekkid Angel/DB til we get you over the hump.

We've heard about your interesting briefs already, Lee, and how you like to flash them to get dates. At least it works. Which reminds me - Josh thinks it's hilarious to tell that story to his friends all the time. "Hey, have told y'all about the time Lee flashed me and half of downtown? Oh I have? Well, let me tell you one more time..." To which I respond by smacking him upside the head. I can't figure out if he's still in the relationship because he does care for me or because he's scared of me....

Yea, another Mariners' fan. I rooted for the Marlins all the way. No self-respecting Mariners fan would ever root for the Spankmees. ;D Shanno did you hear that Mike Cameron, Arthur Rhodes, Armando Benitez, and Shigge filed for free angency. Mike is a good Center Fielder, but he couldn't hit the broad-side of a barn in Safeco Field. Where are you from in that you being a Mariners fan? I'm currently in the San Francisco Bay Area, but just finished graduate school in Seattle, where I was for almost 7years. I just fell in love with that team. Sigh. And now I'm trapped in A's land! Which was fun for the first half of the season, but imagine working in a lab full of Oakland fans this August and September. . . . Sigh. I'll miss Mike, but he needs to go be the hitter we know he can be somewhere else. And I like Randy Winn.

I believe you. And it scares me. It is scary. Even when we disagree, you and I seem to structure our arguments similarly. And then Patti definitely seems to have the same degree of snarkiness to her that I do. To think there are other people out there with minds wired like mine .... the world is definitely doomed!

Ha! I know this word - and no, he does not. It's a sombrero. I used to have a friend back in college and we just learned a slew of silly words. This was one of them - a toupee for the . . . nether regions, no? We used to have this silly saying we would always suggest should be added to signs (like No Shoes, No Shirt, No Service signs): "Please, no merkins!!!" Ah, eg. You take me back to the good old days.

Remember - he said partially naked...I was listening real close. *grin* And the previews show him shirtless anyway. but being the Spoiler Whore that I am, I know all the deep, dark, and dirty details . . . . but I'm not spilling, no siree. You can chain me up and torture me, but you'll get nothing from me.

I'm just a little time machine of fun. during an 18th lit class, my roommate and i would go drinking and read restoration comedy out loud in the middle of whatever bar we were in. of course, i insisted on being sir fopling flutter in "the man of mode" because who doesn't love a name like sir fopling flutter.

They are the most immature posters I've ever seen. Some of them have usually already seen the episode and I just wondered what they thought of it. I have been trying to download the ep. from the same place Nan has, but it won't work for me. Someone just doesn't want me to see these eps with everyone else. Thank goodness for Betsy. and spoilers and wildfeeds. Just this episode and next weeks, and the tape will be off to you in a flash Caraleigh.
