Rachael, in no way did I "turn down" your proposal of marriage. I simply...er....tabled the issue. There have been many proposals to sift through since I've been here. Unless I move to rural Utah, it would be irresponsible for me to be rash about it all. I'll say one thing, though: there's nothing sexier than a scientist. They'll try anything at least once. Rob, desperately trying to get back among the "in" crowd by putting a little sig-line at the end of his post. Rob (channeling Dawn) Never use the word "rash" in any kind of proposal to a woman.

But don't you find that the clipboard and all the note-taking makes them kind of skittish? If you're good, they don't even notice.

The ads don't know from snow, either. Still trade show ads. You'd think they could pick up on SNOW as a topic of discussion. They are flippersmackin' ijuts! Hi Nan, I sent the money for Plot this morning.

I'm just afraid the drive to KC, the long plane ride and the even longer drive down to the Keys will make it worse. But, I'm going anyway. ;D The warmth will be good for you. Take some time to swim in the warm waters, too. Ocean water can be very healing. (channeling gran's old wives' myth #65.)

When I told my friend, Sherrie, that I wanted to go snorkeling, she said she'd never been--she's lived in Florida 25 years, but then she's never been to Epcot or Disney World, either!!

I've moved up to number 12 on the Top 20 Posters List. I'll probably be out of the Top 20 after being gone for 4 days.

If you're good, they don't even notice. Oh, yeah. Just scribble while their eyes are still rolled back, I get it now... S

So, Eliza's show might have taken a turn for the interesting this week. Unfortunately, it was in the last thirty seconds, so I'll have to watch next week to be sure.
On the plus side, it was new as opposed to re-run.

Oh, yeah. Just scribble while their eyes are still rolled back, I get it now... S Exactly. When they've got you upside down is a good time to reach under the bed for the clipboard. And eww there's a huge spider on my wall I have to go for a minute 'cause someone has to kill it and I'm the only one who lives here!

Gotta do it at least twice, to be sure the results are repeatable. . . . ;D And hey, what with the sexy scientist remark, you're already back "in" with my crowd. Unfortunately, it's a nation of one, but hey - gotta start somewhere. Wait a tic...scientists on TV are pretty drool-worthy. All the CSI ladies are quite tasty. That brunette Medical Examiner on NBC or wherever is extremely attractive. Fred, Willow and Dawn (soon to be a scholar in the science of linguistics) are all beautiful. The world is teeming with science beauties. To put it another way, let me quote a world-renowned authority on women: "Smart chicks are so hot."

Saw something funny in the local newspaper TV guide. Tonight on Spike TV there was a listing for "Spike's VGA Preshow." What does VGA stand for? Very Good Action? Visually Guided Agony? Any other ideas?

Hey Rob, I thought you were engaged to Lee, and I think she's probably the jealous type. Lee is all bark with no bite. I don't sweat her. She's a Bangel, for God's sake. She's also not here right now, which is probably a good thing for my long-term health.
