Welcome to the First Round Robin Review Area. Compliment your authors on a hillarious job well done and explore the deeper meaning of it all...okay, okay...you can at least do the first. *L*

I liked the chapter where Spike is dealing with the Nerd Trio, and keeps responding to their popular culture chatter. What will you do for an encore?! I can think of something...but you've probably already thought of it... Gail

I love that you worked Faith in there. Buffy's reaction to being a man was hilarious. Spike's responses were a hoot. Loved it. More!

Great job, all of you!

Thanks Laura, Diane and Gail (and thanks Vlad for giving us such a special 'presentation' of our silliness).
Speaking for all of the Round Robin authors who are ME, this was more fun than I thought it would be, and I probably laughed harder than anyone. But I've always amused myself!
I want to thank Rob for saving our collective writing butts with his ending chapter - which he did in great style under the strain of being isolated by that computer worm thing.
As for the comments about 'do it again' - the idea is, pull together a few people (truly, no more than four, or as Spring warned, it gets way too complicated) and go for it! Think of how much fun to have every Master S'cubie represented in some Round Robin story? The imagination is there. Witness today's main board...

It was fun to write. Definitely - I don't think it should be more than 4 people. Rob and Rae and Patti were fun to write with. No matter how we set each other up, the next person managed to handle it, though a lot of the fun was waiting to see what the next person would do. I thought Patti was going to come through the email and choke me when I turned Buffy into a man and said "Take it from there, my dear!" But her next chapter was great, and it was a lot of fun to do.

Thank God somebody got it. I was worried about that joke. I personally liked Spike's alternate lyrics to We Are The World...but that was more to make myself laugh than anyone else, so...

Now that I've actually read through it all myself, I'm surprised at how well it holds together.
I was particularly impressed with Patti and Rae...not because I have anything against Spring.
I already knew Spring was a great writer (albeit in a different format); I figured I'd be able to ACT like a writer, at least. I think I managed to do that.
Patti and Rae, by contrast, are relatively inexperienced in comparison to Spring and I...considering this, they did a terrific job. It was fun.

That was one of my brother's favorite songs back then. He used to lower all the car windows, crank up the radio and sing his head off if it came on while we were driving someplace.

Great job, Patti, Spring, Rae and Rob. You really nailed the characters! There were so many times I found myself laughing out loud, thinking, "That's exactly what Anya [or any other character] would say." Terrific job guys!
So.....when's the next one debuting?

For a minute in the sewers, I thought we were gonna have another sex change on our hands. Could've been fun - let Spike give Buffy a taste of her own medicine. Still, I enjoyed the story very much.

Ah, but we'd established the spell couldn't go the other way - it could only turn female to male. So, we had to go with what was established previously. That's the fun - or part of it - of a round robin. Whatever the previous authors fit in, you have to work with it.
