Patti! Nice Chapter 3! I like that Ranger Smith isn't what she seems to be. Also, good character stuff, especially with Spike & Dawn. Good job on the singing parts, also. I look forward to your next chapter! Thank you Spring! I'm working on my next chapter now...or should be. so....bye!

yep, yep... I threw Sweet at you to see what would happen and then you tossed the First back at us... Personally, I am still waiting to see if Rae can make the First sing... *pauses* okay,I jsut thought of somethign that would be fun... darn it...that's the thing about RR's... you have these great ideas that you don't get to actually write because by the time it gets back to you, the story went somewhere else...it's liek being at a big party and never getting to finish a conversation. Anyhow, I really like this RR. I think our (and yes I am even including my normally "aw shucks" self in here) overall writing of it has been a notch above the ordinary for such a creature. I thjink we are handling a moderately serious plotline together well, considering none of us know where in the heck it's going. *L* Well, I have plans... but...I know that the three of you (Rob, Rae and Patti) will jsut dash them all to smithereens. In Rae's immortal words..."Whatevahhh!" Vlad Oh..by the way, I think it's getting larger. ;D V. I could handle you with my bare hands. ;D

Good job on the characters, Rae. It held my interest, and I love snarks at Buffy's driving. I got some good smiles and chuckles.
The wonky time sequence . . .very pizzazzy.
Writing those songs must have been quite a challenge - but fun, I would think, for all involved. You are all handling that part admirably.
Keep it coming!

Very fun chapter, Rae, and exciting, too! Seems like our heros might have more on their plates than just Sweet, eh? As if that weren't enough! Good stuff with the van and the boat - lots of movement and action. The scoobies separated and facing different dangers! I'm so impressed at how you are all tackling the songs - bravi, bravi! Can hardly wait for the next one. Lola

Thanks, Spring & Lola I guess I should go back and re-read what I wrote so I'll really know what you're complimenting me on this time. I was afraid everyone would yell (or, at least, talk sternly) at me for going the comedic route instead of following Rob's serious path (Poor Rob! ) but I'm no good with the serious Spuffy moments. Plus, the whole reason I took 'em to the lake was to get AWAY from the First.

I can hardly wait for the next chapter.

Plus, the whole reason I took 'em to the lake was to get AWAY from the First. You thought you could get away from the First? *Mwahaha haha ...snicker..snort...cough.* And I don't think anyone yelled. I think there may have been a very quiet "oh thank god" from Patti, Rob sulked, and I, as always, was unfazed...well except for that whole..."okay, now what the hell do I write" thing, some minor panic attacks, and the assumption by everyone BUT me that you all thought I thought you had killed Dawn. Which you did...right? But other than that, smooth as one of my S'cubiefest pina coladas. ;D Really, I think we are blending the humor and drama here about as well as they usually did in most of the better eps of BtVS. The humor in the face of tragedy was always one of my favorite parts of BtVS. I think you wrote a great chapter Rae-Rae! *hug* Vlad

Well - no one can complain of a lack of action. Dawn in trouble (it must be Tuesday!), Scoobies stranded (and naked!), Buffy & Spike in a collapsing mine shaft . . . my head doth spin.
Sex, violence, pathos, music - what more can a S'cubie ask for?
Nice job on the songs, Vlad, some cute bits on the funny exchanges, and The First was nice and scary.

I'll second everything Spring said -- Vlad, nice job!
I'll third it! I love how you guys are handling all the different plot lines, keeping each one going with it's own momentum and twists, but also with connecting threads. Loved the Willow & Xander & Anya bits in the boat. Very neat touch with the comedic bits. Lola

Nice job Patti!
I liked the parts about not liking Hummers (hee!) and "Sandy Shores Resort" (teehee!).
I also liked the action parts -- getting everyone together in one place.
Now -- where's Dawnie? More! More!
