Whoa. Go DDK with the acting: both incredibly subtle facial expressions and body language. First the subservience, then the face hardening as he watches Sun.

Wow.. in the immortal words of Kelley Lockhart, and regarding the Burger King commercial: "What....The hell.... Was THAT?!"
So it's his story this time..
Nice flirtage between Shannon and Sayid...
"Saturday night" I just have to say: Shannon is my kinda woman. ;D (Take that however you want)
Does anybody else suspect Locke of arson?
I'm pretty sure that Jin didn't do it...

SunDaddy scares me. Well, because I saw the last episode with them in it.
And the guy's face when he comes to deliver the message... "Not in front of my daughter"
Huh..
So that's where the puppy came from....
huh.. and his face takes on the look of cold command in reaction to the obiesance the secretary is showing....Scary.
Bitter bitter Boone.. I wonder if Sayid is suspecting they aren't exactly your normal brother-and-sister.
And hi there, Sawyer.
Dammit Jin, you are gonna have to admit that you speak English to keep from getting KILLED one of these days.

Aw crap.. he actually took Boone at his word.
And she sees it too. Darn. I thought he was good for her: taught her some self-reliance...
"Jungle Pals"
Was that a frog that Locke is gutting?
Locke as a different kind of shaman in contrast to Hurley....Locke's style seems more... transformative. Phoenix-like. Remaking things. With the element of destruction to it: Telling them things they may not want to hear. Active roles.. messianic.
Hurley is more passive: a pastor, a confessor, an aide who will help you, but does not force you a direction you might not want to go. More of an equal, someone who will help you when you want to find the Way yourself: as opposed to Locke, who is going to kick you down the Way HE thinks is right for you whether you want to go there or not..
Seems like a dichotomy that will become more and more important.
Sawyer is quite the literate con man, no? Perhaps his reading of Golding has influenced his behavior the entire time.
SunDaddy should have made it more clear what kind of message he wanted delivered.
God, poor Jin..Trying to do right though the circumstnaces have forced him to become a monster.
He does have that commanding presence to him.. the hitman accedes to his orders, in defiance of SunDaddy's.
Huh.. same scene. Formative in both their experiences. That must be the first time SunDaddy ever "asked" him to do something like that..
And he hates himself.

Dang, I guess he doesn't speak English...
Darnit.
Sayid, this is a case of having to establish a justice system in your little civilization. You can't just stand by: Otherwise it becomes the rule of the fist only.
And Jin learns that Sun habla. Along with everyone else, apparently.

Hmmm, Locke... did you burn that raft to get these people motivated to go after the others on the island? That'd be... wrong.
