Oooh--Sawyer's reading A Wrinkle in Time.
And how many movies has he referenced now? He called Hurley "Stay-Puft" (Ghostbusters), he called Walt "Short Round" (Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom)... Anyone remember any others?

Well, it'll be fun to connect A Wrinkle in Time with the show. He's referenced others but I can't think of them now. (Aren't I just so helpful?) Lenny? I assume this is where he got the numbers. Yikes. Is that a French accent?

"I'm spry." What do the numbers mean?

Dude--what made you think getting the numbers from a crazy guy was a good idea? No wonder he figured it was the numbers causing the curse, not the money.

There's got to be something about time. ETA: Jack - Captain America

Ok, no French accent but there's why Hurley went to Australia.
Ok, is it coincidence that we get 'Short Round' and now a rickety wooden bridge in the same episode? Hmmm?

"Sam Toomey in the town where he used to work--in Australia."
Wasn't that the guy Kate stayed with?
Edit: dead for 4 years? so not?

Nope, not good. Wrong guy. But it would have been a darn good connection! Ray Mullen was Kate's guy.

But it was a darn good connection! Ray Mullen was Kate's guy. Sam Toomey. Ray Mullen. Yep, that's close. Same number of syllables, at least.

LOL. No, probably not a coincidence. 16 years ago. How long was Danielle's or the French Lady's transmission running? 17? And the Mega number was '42. Do you think that might be the year Sam and Leonard were in the Navy 'during the war'?
