Liking Jin more and more...immediately responds to the cries for help. As does Sawyer. Guess crisis brings out the best in people sometimes. Yep. I really liked how they showed everybody doing what they had to do. I'm liking Jin quite a lot lately. A bit boat obsessed, but hey, everyone needs something to keep them going on the island.

Well there goes the secret.. Aw.. Shannon is gonna reveal her sordid past to Sayid.. Boone is SO gonna die... Yup. No Hope Booney, that's what I've been calling him all week in my head. **snerk** He's such a gentleman. I'm really wondering about wifey now. Those vows of his . . . I really thought he was gonna say he wasn't gonna marry her right up to the last moment.

Speaking of crises, am I the only one who can't understand why a gal who's due to have a baby any minute on a deserted island is not dogging the footsteps of the only doctor available rather than hanging out on the beach miles away? And then Claire traipses off for a solitary jaunt?
Oh, gosh; they're gonna amputate? Will Boone survive that?
Gail The woman was in some serious denial! I would have been practically attached at the hip, myself. Along with grilling him for weeks before hand on exactly how he was gonna manage pain, etc. - nailing down a supply of drugs, etc.

Oh my god! Boone is not my most favorite character, but sweet Jesus, how horrifying to go through all that. Locke is going to have a lot to answer for... A very very un-fun way to go, and I'm glad that Sun and Boone managed to get Jack to realise he needed to stop. "Do No Harm" was very good title for this. Of course, I need to keep examining it for all the larger implications if might have.

IT's kind of the wrong time to be deciding you aren't gonna have it... "Don't tell me what I can't do" again.. They are really setting us up for a Jack vs. Locke clash of the titons thing. When he said that line, I actually got a little baby shiver down my spine. ;D

OMG! Can't watch. *covers her eyes* (like in my avatar...'cept now we're in a flashback so I can watch again) I was so getting ready to cover my ears. I figured they wouldn't show much but . . . . Eeeep!

Yeah, he's gonna die. The epiphany music is slow and painful. And flashback... yep! Oh god,, please tell me he doesn't diss her at the alter!! I'm NEVER gonna like him again if he did that!! Jesus... Oh fer... Oh, you complete and total jackass: not only did you listen to your effing father, you are dumping a woman at the altar. Oh, whoosh. Okay.. I was worried there. Sounded like a dumping. I was really really really worried and convinced that's what he was doing, too! Frankly, the bride looked a little nervous.

Boone knows he's gonna die.. hmmm. I think I like Boone now for his courage or is it fatalism? than I ever have before... and he's probably gonna be resurrected to eat the brains of the living. Nice parralell... one life leaves the world and another enters it.. **nods nods nods** This is exactly the path my thoughts were following in those final shots. Including the shameful moment of zombie consideration. The quiet little scene where Jack walks down the beach to tell Shannon was nicely done and sad.

Welcome to this week’s installment of Lost in Spring’s brain. Remain calm while we locate an exit. In the meantime, feel free to wander about: [/li][li]Why is Prince Harry Jack’s best man? [/li][li]Breathing: Boone can’t breathe; Jack needs air; Claire wont’ breathe. Breathe. Just breathe. [/li][li]Jack’s new bride and her vows: I was holding my breath, waiting for the word “effulgent.” [/li][li]This is too sad. [/li][li]Hugging baby hello, hugging Boone good bye. [/li][li]Jack – saved by saving Sara. Jack – saved by letting Boone die. Jack – the universal donor. [/li][li]Very good ep. A bit much for me today. Had a day exactly like this: At my friend’s request, I told several people today her husband’s lung cancer diagnosis. One of those people I told, had the happy news that his toddler – who had been deathly ill – was, rather miraculously, now in the clear. He and his wife were so incredibly happy, and it was very happy news for me too. News I needed to hear – put a huge grin on my face. All day, I’ve been thinking about that: A deadly prognosis on the one hand, news of a small life renewed on the other. This ep did a very nice job with that whole juxtaposition, but it’s like I can’t quite process the ep right now. Later, S’cubes. Am going to try to rewatch Veronica and get my review done. My discombobulation knows no bounds. Must clear my head. [/li][li] You know what Jack always says: Don't push until the head clears. I suspect he won't be practicing what he preaches here, in regard to Locke. [/quote] The way life and death circle each other. So true to real life. Liked your breath and saving thoughts. Jack the universal doner. Huh. {{{Spring}}}}

I actually choked up...which, by the way, I NEVER do at television. Except for that one episode of Angel. Damn it! I just started to like Boone, and they kill him? Well, I suppose that doesn't preclude him showing up in Shannon's flashbacks. Or a Lilly Kane-ish ghost to haunt Locke, who is in SO much trouble... Yes. Locke needs to have every square inch of his ass kicked. And I feel certain Jack has mentioned someone named Sara before on the show, but I can't think of when it might have been...

Very intense, very sad episode. Gripping.
Cried for Boone; I was just starting to like him.
Telling Shannon was handled beautifully; and her grief? also well-done.
ITA with Spring - all that breathing/non-breathing/remember- ing to breathe.
Locke is gonna be odd man out now. He's going to go through great trials, and no one will trust him. His only bud - has gone. And the boy? Will he trust Locke, still?
Shannon? What will happen now? What will happen to Shayid? Will their relationship intensify?
And Jack..is a married man...so that explains his hesitancy with Kate.
Loved Sun and Michael - they came forward in to the brink to give all they could. And Sun? she's a fantastic nurse!!

**snort** Yeah. After that line, you knew it was a guarantee that Jack was gonna make sure Kate delivered the baby. I thought the actor playing Jack did an excellent job tonight...
Otherwise, I was slightly underwhelmed by the ep. I'd imagined that the episode with the birth of Claire's child would be mind-blowing. And it wasn't, at least not to me.
And when I heard, weeks or months ago, that one character would be killed off, my first thought was Boone, poor guy.
Favorite moment - Charlie and Jin hugging in utter joy over the successful birth.
But the ending and coming attractions, with a war brewing between Jack and Locke (with perhaps Sayid doing the dirty work), is great stuff.

OMG! Can't watch. *covers her eyes* (like in my avatar...'cept now we're in a flashback so I can watch again) I can't read or post - don't want to absorb all these thoughts and opinions. So...I'll have to wait til I've done my review.
