No giant cow sightings. Eeep. Hmmmmm, something dodgy, but Rhys doesn't know what it is. Alien meat? Eeeep!! Um, now you're all eating pizza with, guess what on it . . . And now the stilted conversation between Gwen and Rhys. He's pretending he didn't see her there. She's pretending like she isn't investigating him. And she's in full on "he can't be part of this" mode, except she won't ask because she doesn't want to know and doesn't want him to know she's checking on him. Oy! Oooops. Rhys wanted to spy on what they're investigating and now he's seen flirty Gwen and Jack. Alien meat. Ever eaten it? Heh!! (I'm 12 years old, I swear. ;D )

we can always hope that rhys dies in this episode, and that this time it's permanent. oops, was that out loud? seriously, i don't really get why his character is still on the show - gwen herself said she was with him because "no one else will have me" and the character is so dull. every time there's conflict in their relationship, i find myself hoping she'll finally dump him instead of caring about the fate of their relationship.

Rhys is in trouble, guys. I can understand why this looks bad, but, um . . . Wait until he comes out? Isn't there a middle ground between thinking he's involved and running into the midst of things? Like, say, sneaking in to listen in? Oh, Rhys. Are you trying to be all undercover agent guy?

Awww. Sometimes I like Rhys and sometimes I want to smack him. But I can see why he and Gwen are together. They are comfy and have history. And he's . . . well, he's normal guy. Normal life.

Like, say, sneaking in to listen in? jack has never struck me as a middle-ground kind of guy. yep, that's exactly what he's trying to be. i can't decide if it's because he's afraid of his own potential culpability or because he thinks gwen is involved or what.

Normal life. i was overstating it to be a bit silly. but in reality i don't feel like he treats her very well (not that i think she treats him very well either!). i find the whole relationship rather dysfunctional.

Eeeeeek! The poor big giant alien thingee. They just keep carving bits off? Oooh, confrontation! Lying and ham fisted and I hunt down aliens! Oh, nice bit, with the computer image of them all happy behind her as she talks to him . . . Also, to be fair, her job is, like super secret undercover thing, so that's a bit part of why she never talked about it. Not just "to protect" you.

Mmm... meat. Now, is this Man-Meat or the regular kind? Heh! ;D So far, it's looking like both, to me.

Maybe the answer is to go out with someone who knows what you do. Look around you Tosh, only we know what we do. Well, duh! Look around you, Owen! ;D Bringing Rhys into Torchwood. Well, technically bringing him again. Good to hear Jack remind them all of the fact that they're, like cutting it up still alive. Heh! Do I show off? Just a bit. Heh! Well, you do, Jack, you do. Heee! This is quite homoerotic. ;D And Gwen is so quick to be all "no, no, no" 'cuz she knows what Jack is thinking and doesn't want him involved. What is this? Scooby Doo? Heee. Owen is totally cracking me up. "I wasn't suggesting blazing, just waving." ;D Put it out of misery . . . no, save it! Why shouldn't we save it? I'll stock up on plankton. Tosh think Owen's just a big softy. And is sooooooooooo trying to give you the big "come on", Owen. Which he is doing his best to ignore. Because he's not a big softy. And he is one too. But, not like you think.

Oh, Jack. Long distance wouldn't be a problem. Oh, no, it really wouldn't. Heeee! Jack and Rhys bonding over Gwen stories. Gwen embarassing him by bringing danish. Heh!! ;D Sneakin' in the warehouse while Rhys keeps 'em busy. Oh, poor thing. Moaning hwile they snip bits out. "What have they done to you, my poor friend." Drugged and held down. But . . . awfully big now. And I'm thinking not gonna be happy if it gets out.

Like, say, sneaking in to listen in? How very true! ;D I think because he wants to be part of things, because he doesn't like that they killed his friend and put him in a place of looking guilty, because he wants to prove something to Gwen.

it's funny - this is the most excited i've ever seen rhys be about something to do with gwen! i guess she should have told him about her job a long time ago.
so did the tranquilizer accidentally kill the alien, or...? i'm feeling a bit confused about that bit.

I think because he wants to be part of things, because he doesn't like that they killed his friend and put him in a place of looking guilty, because he wants to prove something to Gwen. it started before he knew what gwen's role was, though. i just thought that was interesting.
