Carla's group is damn good. Soon as I leave, can you . . . ? I sure can. **shivers** Nice slide, Michael! So - when do Carla's handlers change to threatening Sam and/or Fi directly, I wonder? Nooooooooo! Don't open the door!!! OMG! Well, that was one hell of a cliffhanger.

Tall, blonde and evil. I like Michael's little speech about the trade offs for hiding places. Balancing easy enough to get to and hard enough to find. Made me think of Xander's speech comparing hammering and avoiding the dark side. That it's all about a balance between power and control. Also? The trick with the door hinge was cool. But before he said "tall, blonde and evil" he said: "She's a real machine[/]."

-You always keep a tracker on you, just in case? -Always be prepared, Navy Seals motto. -That's the Boy Scout motto. -Sam, I could kiss you. -Get in line.
Love it. ;D

Taking your brother along on a job? No, that's just being supportive. Woo! Yoghurt mention - everyone take a drink! Heee! Sam and the toiletries. ;D Yeah, Bruce Campbell was in fine form in this episode.

Michael plays a drunken cringer well. As he does all his roles. And he played the "conversion" well too. And then the moment between Michael and Fi. Wow. Just so well done. "I'm not afraid of death. I'm not afraid of anything." Aaaaaaaand it all goes horribly awry. What a shocker. It never gets old seeing Michael suddenly become smoothly lethal again. **mmmmmmmlethalMichael** I loved the way Fiona was looking at Michael through that. I wonder what exactly she was thinking.

Once again, I am impressed when Burn Notice really commits. They don't have Michael get blowed up like that and just dust himself off, he's actually hurt.

"By any means necessary." Sam is right, this is crazy. And Michael's feeling all emotionally vulnerable because of all the stuff that is happening. It's brining out all his issues from being a vulnerable child who no one else took care of, I'm thinking. "I want my brother out of jail! I want ANSWERS!" That. That was really Michael hitting the wall, wasn't it? It wasn't him putting on a character.

"Nearly getting killed shakes you up. No matter how much experience you have. Brushes with death are like snowflakes - each one is unique and icy cold." That is almost poetic, in a odd way.
And Michael is still hurt - go you, show, with the continuity and all.
Hmmmmmm. More to worry about with her? More scared of her? Sounds like Michael's handler.
Also? Ratcheting up the serious and the scary again this season, it looks like. Only now Michael and company are matching the scary.

Telling Fi to go with what she knows? Um. Ok. That actually went far better than it should have. "Once it's clear you're not going to be friends," (HA! ;D ) "you have to resolve the situation as quickly and as cleanly as possible." ;D "Sometimes you can't pull that off either." Oh, Fi! Michael. You're acting as desperately as the dad who was going to try to kill himself to get the money. And now, you're fighting Sam? Look at yourself!

"I know you're always gonna answer when he calls." Yoghurt! **takes a drink** She got into his place, without his knowing. And is eating his yoghurt. And now Michael has the clean-cut, strong jaw of purpose.

I thought that Michael's emotions were genuine, but he as using them to his advantage, expressing what he was feeling at that time so that it would serve to his advantage.
