Oh, Hugo. Telling his mom all about it. Is he gonna be believed? He's been so in pain about lying all along. OMG, the story does sound so incredibly insane-o. Frankly, they were probably better off lying just 'cuz of that. And there is the part that is so horrible to him. The rest of the survivors are still on the island. DAMN! Give Jorge Garcia an Emmy already!! Eeeeeeep!! Don't hurt my Sawyer!!! Strip him, if you must, but don't kill him!!

My fellow geeks, today is a day to hang our heads in shame. How in the HELL did none of us notice that Neil, the heretofore unseen character who landed a speaking role only to be killed, was wearing a RED SHIRT??I've never watched Star Trek, so that's my excuse. ;D Of course, that probably jeopardizes my status as "geek" in most people's eyes, but I don't mind. I'm a rebel.

From Damon Lindelof and Carlton Cuse, re the audience relating to/buying the time travel aspect of the show:
As long as Sawyer is basically saying "I don't want to be on the time travel show. I just want a shirt. I want a shirt and I want a meal" we feel that the audience will be able to find a proxy.

Ben is working with the Sybil of Cumaea (who I think is Faraday's mother)? Well, that's not what they call her; but she's obviously possessed of some honkin' secret knowledge.
G. What a cool comparison!

My lj post about Lost: It feels so weird to finally be posting about Lost again. And, as always, I have absolutely no theories about this show as I just watch and enjoy the ride. Things I liked: 1. Ana Lucia showing up to dead talk Hurley. Hee. Libby says hi. Hee. 2. Hurley's parents. I just like them. 3. Daniel Faraday. I like his character. **nods** OMG, yes!! I love the freaky "WTF hey look at that" moments best of all on Lost. Time jumping is an excellent way to make sure I get all of my daily WTF requirements met. I totally want them to jump back to the time of the Giant Four Toed Foot statue builders. ;D Ha! It's always a tumor. Kinda how it's never lupus on House. Yes! ;D

G. What a cool comparison! Actually, it's the Cumaean sybil, Cumae not Cumaea. I had it in my head but didn't get the spelling right...

But y'all know what I mean. I love her lair with the maps and pendulums and other time-trackin' stuff.

This morning I had "The Lie" on while doing some tidying up, and this time around I noticed something that totally went past me the first time: Desmond and Penny were wearing wedding bands.

I'm wondering if there's a parallel between the Oceanic Six's cover story, despite being full of holes, is much more believable than the plot of the show, and all the bull that Ben has fed the Losties. I wonder whatever is actually going on is so much wackier. I would explain why Ben and The Others simply didn't lead with the truth and gestures of friendship. I'm wondering if this show will ever questioned the Oceanic Six's decision to lie about Aaron's parentage. If they do come up with an excuse for the lie, then it would seem that the appearance of Carole Littleton in "There's No Place Like Home, Part 1" and Jack's subsequent reactions and guilt over Aaron were all for nothing.
