Just much worse than Desmond? Or is it something different? Does this clear up the question of who planted the wreckage? Come tomorrow, you won't remember I did. How does Widmore know that the plane crashed on the island? Ah, Widmore is recruiting Daniel for the Kill Ben mission. How does going back to the island heal Daniel's memory and how does Widmore know that? Widmore plays the "you're special" card. Back on the island. Like, Fonzie times? Heh. Sawyer demands answers. Yet he's not so forthcoming himself. Belonged here just fine before you showed up here, doc. Will no one broach this whole issue of how the Oceanic 6 were led to believe that the Sawyer et al were in danger (and they actually were for a while) etc and it was vital that they return to the island and that Sawyer et al's been supposedly looking for them all this time and now Sawyer's all pissy that he actually found them again?  About trying to find the Hostiles/The Others. Sawyer and Jack fighting over Kate again. *Sigh* Juliet gives up the ghost code for the sonic fence. Jack, Kate, and Daniel head off. Sawyer et al come up with a game plan. But first Daniel has to stop and freak out Charlotte. Daniel, Jack, and Kate are about to get away... But then Razinsky and his goons show up. Great. Is that Kelvin? Shoot out at the OK Corral. Blowing up the fuel! Tsk tsk. |

Juliet and Sawyer, packin' up the household . . . and of course it all goesto hell.  "That's not good, right?" Ha! "I just got shot by a physicist!"? My new favorite line. ;D Shoulda left with Jack and Kate and Daniel, guys. Cool! Total explanation for the hatch and the crash and the freighter and it all! "This entire chain of events, it's gonna start happening this aftternoon. But. We can change that." So, he's realized that it can change? Oooh! "We're the variables." Change our destiny. He wants to derail the whole thing? "I'm gonna detonate a hydrogen bomb." Jughead!!!!!!  Man. Daniel on the piano. And more mother time. He mysteriously is unable to play with his mom in the room. Hmm. Daniel's problem seems to be a short term memory thing. Seems different than just being unstuck in time. Ellie wants Daniel to accept Widmore's offer. Is she working with him or not? Back on the island. Jack's doctor skills come back into play. We can't be so naive as to think nothing can happen to us. Anyone of us can die. dun Dun DUN! Meanwhile back at the ranch. Sawyer and Juliet prepare to bail. Klaxon. Escalation. Razinsky finds Phil.  Why did Razinsky have such a bug up his ass. I mean, I understand why *now*, but when we first met him he seemed excessively paranoid, even for DHARMA standards. The jungle seems so peaceful. Despite the Others lingering in the shadows, I mean. Daniel explains about The Swan. The Incident is them drilling and releasing this energy is why the whole button pushing thing was set up. They can stop The Incident? I been spending so much time focused on the constants, I forgot about the variables. The Losties, people, are the variables. Daniel wants to negate the pocket of energy. Daniel's not taking into account the whole Ben factor here. Which he doesn't know about and Jack and Sawyer don't seem to be thinking about at the moment. He's going to detonate Jughead to cancel out the energy pocket. So Jughead wasn't buried under the Swan. At least not originally. |

Also, what, is Daniel some kind of Freakish Other's Island Experiment or something? Why didn't they just raise him on the island?
