Sendhil Ramamurthy is guesting on Psych tomorrow.
I had another casting comment but it's lost in the fog that is my brain.

Oh, just saw the guy who plays Don Draper on a Gilmore episode.
But that wasn't the comment that I've lost in my brain.

She's never coming out.
70% effaced, but zero dilation.
We're on the clock; if I'm not dilating by next week, we're scheduling an induction for October 1st. Which I would like to avoid.
I'm gonna start charging her a surcharge from her college fund for every day she's late.

I thought I'd prove I can share a cool sports story that doesn't involve a Boston player.

SPN SPOILER PROMO FOR EPISODE 5.02:ARE THEY FUCKING KIDDING ME?! "I killed two angels this week, and I did it all for you." It's practically canon in my world now, people. The writers are doing everything they can to help us Dean/Cas fangirls out, and I LOVE THEM FOR IT. Of course, the dialog is probably just cut off, and he's probably just saying I did it all for youuuu . . . all and humanity and shit, but still. I know! I know! And here under the spoiler is my reaction to this: Is there anything more to be said? Or to paraphrase Helen Reddy(and I am Women):
We are CANON, hear us ROAR In numbers too big to ignore And Dean feels too much to go back and pretend
Because we've never seen Cas like this before And soon Dean will have him on the floor And the touching and the sexing will begin
Oh yes, wincesters may fuss But really what more can we say? Our ship is canon now, And wing porn must have it's way.
If we have to, we can do anything We are Hot, we are Invincible, We are CANON! Is it frakking 9:00 yet? You guys are cracking my shit up!

Well, once that placenta starts to give out, the all-you-can-eat buffet sort of dries up. Ah, well. She seems to think that because my cervix is very ripe, and the baby is below zero station, induction will be relatively easy on me. And if it comes to that, it's easier scheduling for the family who want to know WHEN, you know? My mom and sister will be able to tell their jobs they need October 1st off, and drive down in the morning....

It'd depend on the availability of cable t.v. and high-speed internet access.

I just finished watching Being Human. OMGMITCHELLSOPRETTY! Is there going to be a second season, do you know?

I'm pretty sure they only started filming series 2 in August, so we likely won't be seeing it here in the US for a while. Which is why BBC America or whoever owns the show needs to get off their ass and put the first season on DVD.

I closed the tab when I tried to go back to it. Razzlefraztin'frazzleratzin'.... So. I called Brea Veterinary around 8:30. Turns out the vets don't actually get there until 9. I asked to be called back, and I waited, and waited, and waited... Eventually, I called again. The vet said that Shadow's test results are actually worse, and Patches' original results aren't much better. She said they looked like the cats are dehydrated. Considering how much water they drink, and how many big lumps get left in the box , I'm rather surprised. Then we discussed catfood. She wants them on expensive special-order canned catfood for a month. At which point I remarked casually that they'd love that, they only get dry now. Aha, she says, I see the problem. Turns out that whichever vet put the cats on dry food only, all those years ago, may have had the wrong sow by the ear, so to speak. Canned catfood is moist (duh) and also has less calories than the dry stuff. It's not as good for their teeth. Tradeoff. I guess I can live with that, it's better than bladder stone surgery. I think we have enough dry food to last until next Tuesday when the special order canned stuff comes in. I hope so. After the month, I get to drag them back to the vet for another urine check, and we'll decide what to do after that. Too much stuff all at once, my brain hurts and it's probably too late for all those errands I was going to run so Paul could take my car to Upland later.

Haven't seen tonight's yet: just watched the first two this evening at my parents' house. And the gay male is actually a gay female, unless I'm completely clueless. Or perhaps she's intersex. saw the bits about ep 3. Edit: Okay, found someone else to play the Bel Thorne role. I too can't stand the wife: she's petty and horrible and frustrating, and I want Will to break free of her when he finds out about her faking of her pregnancy. I contrast the guidance counselor in that she's totally self-aware of her obsessive compulsions, and while she deals with them, she apparently has few other extreme mental handicaps. So it's an endearing sort of crazy, and I could easily see myself living with/dealing with her crazy as opposed to the entirely self-absorbed crazy of his wife. To me, it's all over-the-top: if it were animated in a semi-realistic style, like King of the Hill, I wouldn't even blink at the silliness. I mean, I don't blink at it now, but that's the place I'm viewing it from. Yes, I realized that after I'd gone up to bed: it's a comic book. Seems like a lot of stuff on TV nowadays is just that. There's "reality" shows that are totally unreal. And then many of the fictional shows have gone wildly fictional. The tag line for USA today "CHARACTERS welcome" is exactly right: they are all characters. That's not complaint, just an observation. Not that anything on TV is (or I would want to be) entirely realistic but I notice we are getting more and more sci-fi-ish stuff and more and more crosser dramedy stuff. Not as much in the way of thirtysomething or even West Wing-ish type adult scripted straight-drama. Or maybe I"m just overlooking a bunch of shows I don't watch. disclaimer: our electricity went out at 1 am and didn't return until nearly 7 am. As someone who is pretty darned dependent on a C-PAP machine that led to a night of very interrrupted and restless "sleep." Non comic-book but takes patience and may bring back childhood memories: Mad Men Non comic-book but like a darker Twin Peaks: Durham County Non comic-book but way too damned violent for me: Sons of Anarchy Fringe is J.J. Abrams and he sort of defaults to graphic novel; I think it's the best thing he's ever done, but I didn't watch "Felicity." I've read both EW and TVGuide's Fall Preview Issue and nothing looked to me as if it could be HLotS or LA Law or early ER, let alone West Wing. JUlia, I suspect the times are against us.
