Man, the choreography for the cheer-song was awesome! I mean, Quinn doesn't have the strongest voice, but the staging was rockin'!

First! I've never been first! It's a first! My first first! Today, you are a man. Julia, well, actually, yesterday, also, and for many years... Ha! ;D

Welcome to Part 1072 of the Soulful Spike Society <snip> Man, they just don't make 'em like Calvin and Hobbes anymore... On to the formalities: 1. Read and live by our rules. 2. While certain topics are out of bounds on the main board, never fear: there is a special place for you to share your thoughts on those particular subjects. 3. Posting spoilers anywhere but here will, without question, bring the wrath of the S'cubies down on your head--as well as other body parts. 4. Be sure to check out the great reviews and essays on the S3 home page—the awesome includes Erin's takes on the master's new series Dollhouse.Okay then. Time to bumble along...
Love the Calvin & Hobbes! True, they don't make 'em like that anymore. Got a nap in today, and gave Nanucci some pets and treats and generally rewarded him for greeting me with such enthusiasm. You know, the Vermonters and the other Travelin' M's could learn a few things from Nanucci, when it comes to adoring looks and enthusiastic greetings. MONNIE! You home yet? Monnie? Are you there? Post once for yes, and twice for no.
I'M HOME! Jaysus. Next time? I'll not be so picky about having a nonstop flight. That hanging around the airport for 6.5 hours is draining. And then driving two hours in the dark and drizzly was not fun. Oy. But, I'm home, and I've gotten my woofie lovin's taken care of, and I've unpacked, and I've eaten supper, and now all I have to do is do my nightly ritual and collapse in the bestest bed in the whole world (IMHO).

Hey, Spring! Just wanted you to know that I am not going to be around tomorrow night for Project Runway - I'm heading out to a movie with my sis. So, since I have no idea what the challenge will be, I thought I'd throw out some crazy ideas, just for fun! * giant boots - not just up to the thighs, but up to the neck! * a dress entirely made of feathers and balloons - thus creating a theme of "air"! * the use of gold coins in some way, perhaps as trim to a dress or to create a helmut-hat or to decorate the shoes * edible clothing. I'm thinking a prosciutto dress with pasta shoes and a tomato and cheese hat! * charcoal grey leather from head to foot, but with the surprise of bright emerald green at some point - maybe a slash or peeking out of the outfit in some way. There ya go, more kooky ideas than you can shake a stick at. Enjoy! ;D

Copying over from the last part, because I'm in a weird mood: And then I said: Sounds like a job for the Project Runway S'cubies. Oh, and Matthew? Some green and blue chicks, just for you. Love the "Calvin and Hobbes", Sara.

Such a funny movie! I'm looking forward to seeing her reaction.

I will miss you, but if no one else chimes in, I'll do a creation on my own, and try to incorporate your ideas as appropriate . . . .
