Welcome to Part 1072 of the Soulful Spike Society Man, they just don't make 'em like Calvin and Hobbes anymore... On to the formalities: 1. Read and live by our rules. 2. While certain topics are out of bounds on the main board, never fear: there is a special place for you to share your thoughts on those particular subjects. 3. Posting spoilers anywhere but here will, without question, bring the wrath of the S'cubies down on your head--as well as other body parts. 4. Be sure to check out the great reviews and essays on the S3 home page—the awesome includes Erin's takes on the master's new series Dollhouse.Okay then. Time to bumble along...
Bravo for a wonderful opener. I love Calvin and Hobbes with a fiery passion. Hee!

Man, the choreography for the cheer-song was awesome! I mean, Quinn doesn't have the strongest voice, but the staging was rockin'! This. Exactly.

Damn, that final number! My favorite of the show. Hugs Glee tight! Stupid pregnancy stuff still but I kind of mostly ignore that for all the good stuff like Sue telling Will I'm going to vomit down your back. Hee! (and all the musical numbers of course)

Now completely my epic run of Pattitus (sniff, miss) good morning to all. I'm in complete it's Thursday perk mode although as soon as I finished my script of course there's a new script writing assignment on the website.
Sigh. Though yea?
But I won't be working on it today so woo hoo for the Thursday and Supernatural tonight and the safe return of the Travelers and just a general woo.
I'm feeling the woo.

I've been a little lacking in woo this past week so I need the woo to be fully pixiated.

And they say courtesy is dead. An email I received yesterday, subject line "AMFF: user ID and password." I've quoted it in its entirety: Send both to me. I can't order on your site.It came just before noon, and because I was away at lunch and worked in the gallery from 1 on I wasn't able to reply until about 3:15. His reply, sent at 6:38: Thanks for your help. I gave up and ordered from another source. He also took the opportunity to complain about the upcoming Cheney event. My verbal response, also quoted in its entirety, upon reading his second email: "Fuck you."

Hee. Yes, the woo is good. I've been a little lacking in woo this past week so I need the woo to be fully pixiated. Good luck with the woo, then. I found some serendipitous "Woo" this week - an old Word document I had saved of the first "Bloody Awful Poetry" edition of the "Daily Shipping News". Hard to believe, but that's been almost seven years ago!

Remember when we were always waiting with baited breath for you to post the News? It was like come on, where's the Shipping News? You did a magnificent job!

Of the good: My roof leaks are fixed.
Of the bad: I have toll violations from the car I sold back in April. Said "friend" is two months in arrears in payments (her SO is out of work) and is now running toll booths, but has not registered car in her name. And she's mad at ME because I am unhappy about being stiffed that way. ("How could you think I would do that?")("Because you DID do that!")

Gorgeous. But can you make it larger? I would like to use it as wallpaper for a while. Sorry for taking so long to reply to this--my brain is at such a low level of function this week I wouldn't cause a single blip on an EEG scan. If you haven't already tried it, your best option is to contact the photographer and see if the original image is at a higher resolution. Reducing a picture's size is easy, but trying to enlarge a digital photo only results in a loss of resolution. I suppose you could, in theory, print the picture and then scan the paper copy at a higher resolution, but I suspect you'd still lose some of the original's crispness and clarity. So, yeah--I'd say your choices are contact the photographer directly or, if that's the largest version that exists, use the tile function when choosing the image as your wallpaper.
