So, were you unable to get started on the way to Charleston today? No, I'm not actually leaving for Charleston until Monday. I had to drop my cats off for boarding today because the vet hospital is closed tomorrow and I want to leave before it opens on Monday.

I've got an hour and a half before I can take my insulin any time which is not dangerously, stupidly early, and I'm so sleepy I feel drunk.
ARGH.
Julia, stupid, stupid, stupid insomnia, ugh.

Thanks for sharing this Spring. I love Vince's sense of humor. "You guys in the white jeep call me, cause I'VE WONDERED ABOUT PEOPLE LIKE YOU!" ;D Thanks, Rich. Vince had a great sense of humor. My favorite part is the bit with the gum on his shoe, that comes up later, when he's talking to Marvin the Guinea Pig. He was a truly unique guy. It's hard to put into words, though the video captures it a bit. The recurring theme of gum on the bottom of his shoe is my favorite bit too.

My bf. I think I'll keep him. You know that furnace problem we've been having? After $190 service call for cleaning and another call to have the guy come back out and reset the thing because it wasn't heating, Nick finally just looked at it hisself and clean the thermocouple. We have heat. Not just 64 degree heat, but real over 70 degree heat - which I will now turn down because I think my feet have thawed out. The service guy was trying to sell us a new furnace to replace the 30 year old unit we have. But it ain't gonna happen now. At least for a while. *knocks wood* Gah. I hate to get the runaround from service people who are either incompetent or think you're an easy mark. And the kid looked so nice and innocent and capable. I hate to think the worst of people..... Anyway. Nick rocks. He's just not another pretty face. Watching The Wizard of Oz and cooking chicken tortilla soup and cornbread. My company's Christmas party was last night. Out of over 60 people, most younger than me, only 6 of us danced, and 4 of those danced only a few dances. Nick and I had fun. I finally got a guy who will actually dance! A guy who fixes stuff and dances? Priceless. It sounds as though you picked a good 'un there, Karen. Yay! I haven't had the opportunity to congratulate Rachael on the birth of her beautiful daughter. I really must try to pop in more often! I'm so happy for you, Rachael.

*sigh* All but a few photos that need copied into several folders exported and sorted.
Church gone to, surprisingly.
Now all we have to do is a huge wad of shopping with no help from the Youth of America, who are both working today.
Julia, I'm resing andgetting a second wind; Franklin has, strangely enough, gone back to bed.

This cold or whatever it is kicked my ass the past few days. Lots of fever and mucus and aches and tiredness. Today is the first day I actually felt I might make it through it. But, all this downtime did give me a chance to finally finish my Castiel vid, so if anyone is interested, here it is:

What a crazy past week/weekend. So much to do, lots of small weird little bumps and glitches, lots of fun and getting together with friends-ness, add in some pushing of cars (sore arms!) and issues with heat at my place (arrgg!) and wonderful evening looking at lights and . . . I'm ready for my boring week now! My very very boring week can come by any time now!!

This cold or whatever it is kicked my ass the past few days. Lots of fever and mucus and aches and tiredness. Today is the first day I actually felt I might make it through it. But, all this downtime did give me a chance to finally finish my Castiel" vid, so if anyone is interested, here it is: I like the “heavenly bodies” beginning leading to our main heavenly body, Cas. Now, I may be imagining this, as I'm still no expert at using my slash glasses, but I think there is just a touch of Dean-Cas going on in this “Castiel vid." Nice song; I’ve never heard it before, but the tune as well as the lyrics is a good match to the relationship and goings on. It feels sort of like a coming-of-age kinda thing for Castiel – comes to earth, gets his landlegs (learns about being human and caring), gets tested, gets stronger, continues to struggle, but with more power and confidence. I like the “firelit” images too, and then the music and images speed up, and it seems Cas’s strength is picking up, he’s tougher (but still tender, natch). And OMG you included, in this hot little vid, my favorite “heating it up with the demon skank in the ring of fire” scene! I knew I would convert you to my way of thinking! I am glad I got through to you on that one. Also: I wrote you a small SPN fanfic in the last part, trying to make it so bad it might cure you of your addiction. Pixi said it was “epically bad” but it did not cure her. It is here if you want to see if it will work for you. Also, take a look at my son’s video from his old Cable Access show (when he was 13 yrs old) if you get a chance (it's in the S'cubie photo album). Hope you keep feeling better!

I have been playing Plants vs Zombies. continuously. since the last time I posted. ... I should probably put the computer down now. *facepalm* Step away from the computer . . . PS> Are you closer to becoming a Plant or a Zombie? I been requiring water but not eating brains. Plant! ... the thing about Plants vs Zombies is it isn't just the one game, it's a bunch of other games like Bejeweled only with Zombies. and plants. So I keep playing it. Also, it has a garden, with pretty flowers that give you money. ... I'm going to sleep soon. I was going to sleep at midnight but the garden turns out to figure midnight = new day and want lots of watering and stuff.

Sweet edit. The excellent editing of the different examples of Cas and Dean eye-fucking staring at each other was to be expected, but I particularly loved loved loved the total RCA-dog extreme head tilt of Cas and then Dean’s subtle little slight tip. Adorable! All the little moments of Cas looking up – very effective imagery! And the way you used the scene with his wings? S’nice! Lastly? God I love his face in that final clip – the light so bright and then you can just see everything in his eyes!! OMG! In short? Excellent vid, Monnie.
