I'd like to see him put some more distance between himself and News Corp. The light is called HBO, Josh! Run to the light! Yah, I kind of agree. I do like some of the things on FX though. I enjoy Rescue Me, and I was enthralled by the first season of Damages. It really seems like they are more willing to take chances with the non-American Idol channels. That's right. I forgot about Rescue Me. FX does like to push the envelope abit. Plus there's the whole not-having-to-pay-for-a-premium-channel-just-to-see-a-Joss-show thing.

It's raining. The Husband is at his Mythie meeting in Altadena, after visiting my mom to drop some stuff off and do a few things around her house. He's going to be driving home through the rain, on the freeways that have not been rained upon for some time, on a Sunday evening. A few spare good vibes for his safe return would be most appreciated. Anne, professional worrier Having not read ahead, I am assuming he got home safely. You've got vibes from me anyway, since you've had one heck of a worrisome weekend, Better Half. He did get home safely, thank you Onjel and all the S'cubies for the vibes. Today Paul had to work, so I got up at 5AM as usual, made his tea, checked the traffic on the Sigalert website, fed the cats, then went back to bed for a while. In fact, I'm still in my nightie and bathrobe and slippers. I'd better go prod Kitty into more SAT prep. I'm not worried about her ability to answer math or English questions. The essay is the bad one, although she says it looks easy; for one thing, the required length is much shorter than she expected. I guess I'd better get washed and dressed soon. At some point, I should venture out to check the rain gauge. It's been raining pretty much continuously. Shadow is Not Amused. She's made each of the three of us let her out every door, and It's Still Raining. (angry cat eyewhiskers)

I have to do substantial revisions. Then I'll get my degree. It's more complicated than that, but I'm too upset right now to go into that or why I am upset. More later. Love you guys. I'll keep the good-vibes generator going for you. As I say to Emily when she asks me to wish her good luck on an exam, "I wish you a clear mind, and access to all the thoughts you already have stored there". I know you can do this, and do it well.

I have HBO but I may not for long, given the expense and I would hate to miss out on anything Joss may do. Still, having him somewhere on television would be a plus. Maybe he could go to USA? Good shows on that network, what with "Burn Notice" and "White Collar" to name two.

I love Jeff Bridges talking about his parents. Julia, cha-cha-cha Yah know, I think I'm kind of in love with Jeff Bridges. I have loved him for ages because of The Big Lebowski. Then I found out he is a great photographer, and I believe published a book of his pictures. Now, the cherry on top is hearing that he did all of his own singing for Crazy Heart. And THEN I see him at the Golden Globes Red Carpet with his wife of 33 freaking years, which is proudly proclaims. What a great guy. I love Jeff Bridges! He's also the cute one of the Bridges clan which doesn't hurt. I had no idea he's been married to the same woman for 33 years. Cool.

OK . . . Christina Hendricks . . . I can imdb her for more - Ah, I see. Mad Men. She has a Mutant Enemy connection, too. She played Saffron on Firefly and played a barmaid in a flashback scene on Angel.I need to rewatch Season 1 of Angel one of these days. After my Sopranos marathon. FYI. Don't watch The Sopranos right before bedtime. Saffron, more affectionately known as YoSafBrig. ;D The Sopranos definitely isn't sweet dreams material. A little too graphically violent. Good show, though.

I've seen ads for "Being Erica" on CBC but they never really highlighted the vehicle of the show's premise so didn't catch my interest. I get soapnet but not in HD. I may have to give it a look-see, though.

Jeeze. Can you tell I've been filling space? ;D Hehe. You crossed over the 30,000 posting mark. Boring day here, since it's a holiday and most everyone is off. There are a few of us that decided to work it and take a day off when the weather was nice. Pretty hoar frost on the trees here for 2 days. There hasn't been any sun to burn it off or wind to blow it off, and with the weather hovering right around freezing, it's sticking like glue.
