Some more juice tidbits for my fellow Spoiler Whores:
From buffy_angel4ever: Speaking of Eve, I hated that character on Angel from just the first ep. What do you think? She's fantastic! For me to poop on!
From freddiegirl: It's so cool you got to visit the Angel set. I love Spike! Any more spoilers? Spike tries (unsuccessfully) to scare Fred, which gives Spike a major crappy ghost complex. Fred lets him know about a shanshu prophecy she's working on that will turn Angel human. Fred tries to tell Angel that Spike is more like him than he realizes and that they both care for Buffy.
From angelbaby277: I have to say Spike has brought something back to Angel. It has been so funny. Any more news? Make sure you check out the column for James Marsters' answers to your questions and to see a clip of one of the segments from our live set visit to Angel last week. I also hear that Sarah Michelle Gellar, Alyson Hannigan and Juliet Landau are all returning (at least that's the producers' plan), and lots of great stuff is coming up for James, including an episode that focuses mainly on him, in which he goes down to H.E. Double Hockey Sticks.
From evanichole: Do you have any other Angel news? When Spike starts fading away (only he can see himself disappear), he fears he's heading back to hell, so Fred turns him from ghostly to solid with a fancy "recorporealizer" (say that 10 times fast). But word is he does head south this season. And I'm not talking TJ.
From smilineyes: How jealous am I that you got to lay your hands on Angel and Spike! 'Fess up: Are you still giddy? Delirious. Waiting to be hit by a bus.

Lee - oh my god - Angel and Eve. Hopefully it will be because of a spell! I absolutely hate her and every time she gives that come hither "I'm mysterious, I'm cute" look I want to smack her and then throw up! Angel cannot be that stupid - it has to be a spell! Bah, my day is ruined and it's still early!

Nan - I liked the one of Spike in the shadows. The others are really creepy. Definitely a bit darker than other seasons.

I won't mind if Angel gets a new love interest this season - just do not let it be EVE! NO Eve. Can I help you smack Eve? ;D

Um, I hope they're still putting warnings that the program is not intended for younger viewers...The pic where Spike is looking at the detached fingers is a great close-up of Spike.

Just a little bit of info from TV Gal's column. Most of it is stuff we've already heard: Not only is Eve not going anywhere but I'm also hearing that in episode five everything Lorne suggests comes true and Eve and Angel will sleep together. Also we're going to see Wesley's father this season. HOWEVER, the "Eve and Angel will sleep together" part is new. I had heard that they make out but I haven't heard they sleep together. Now, TV Gal doesn't have 100% accuracy but she's darn close. Pisser if Angel and Eve sleep together! I will be one pissed viewer (and no, it's not because I'm a Bangel. It's because I can't stand Eve)
I could see Angel sleeping with Eve. It's not like we'd have to worry that he'd get major happiness from the experience, more like a warm body to have sex with and be reminded that it's not Buffy with him...

Can I help you smack Eve? ;D I'm with you, but shouldn't that be a FLIPPERSMACK? (ducks under table and crawls away)

Please don't anyone take this wrong -
I can see Spike just having sex for the fun of it even without love. We saw it with Harmony. His whole personality is devil-may-care. He has fun with everything even sex. I expect him to do it without love and I think nothing of it because that's who he is. He's one of those men who can make a woman feel wonderful for a night and then leave in the morning.
Angel is not like Spike. He takes everything more seriously. No matter what he did as Angelus, I think Angel needs to have feelings for the woman before he can sleep with her. Even with Darla, he was in total despair and sought comfort. He is not as comfortable with women as Spike is. He holds himself back perhaps because of the curse or perhaps because he is less anxious to give up control.
As the go-between for the senior partners, wouldn't it be wise not to trust Eve? How could you be relaxed enough to have sex with someone you knew was evil and could possibly report back on your performance to those senior partners.
Speaking of them - I wish we could see one every once in a while.

I think we should reserve judgement on how Spike would approach casual sex now, until we actually see it on screen (ahem, you know what I mean ). Remember, Anya propositioned him twice in S7 and he turned her down both times. I'm not really opposed to Spike having (I don't know how to put it) "dates", just not until closer to the end of the season and NOT with Harmony. I would be really disappointed in the writers if they have him treat women post-soul the way he treated Harmony.

In reviewing these pics, I noticed something I hadn't before: plain shots of Spike's eyebrow scar. So if the makeup department had been playing that down and/or concealing it, it's plain they've ceased to do so. YAY!

Hey, everyone. Just visiting from the main board for a bit and noticed this thing about Angel and Eve.
I totally agree about Eve's violence and vomit-inducing factor (which first? the violence, I guess, otherwise it could get unnecessarily messy). I think I wouldn't dislike her so much if They had made an attempt to make her COMPLETELY DIFFERENT FROM LILAH!!! As it is, she's a pale, emaciated imitation.
My main question about this turn of events is....Does anyone remember Eve's response to the comment about her role as liaison to the SP's being "a lot of power for a young woman" to have?
Eve said: "What makes you think I'm either of those things?"
Is Angel/Eve sex supposed to set us up for a much later "ewwwww!" factor when They finally reveal what kind of creature Eve really is?
Personally, I hope it's a long setup for another homoerotic joke at Angel's expense!

I just read in one of the links at www.buffy.nu that the character playing the werewolf in tonite's episode - Unleashed - will be a recurring role. Wonder what's up with that? From the spoilers I've read and the trailer to the episode, maybe Angel is a bit attracted to her?

According to wildfeeds gathered in the article at the URL below, 5.9 centers on Harmony and what office politics are like at the secretarial level at a demonic law firm/conglomerate. Prolly it'll be the funniest thing hatched, but somehow doesn't sound too gripping to me.... www.buffy.nu/article.php3?id_article=2051
