After seeing the trailer for next weeks episode "The Girl in Question", I'm feeling a little happier about it. I think this is going to be a fun episode and is going to be more about Spike and Angel than Buffy (I hope). And let's face it, we could do with a more light hearted episode, when you think of what's to come in the final two. We ought to make the most of it, it's going to be nothing but tears from then on.

Maybe things aren't as bad as they seem. The spoilers may well be correct, but perhaps they aren't giving us the complete picture. The WB release for Not Fade Away begins, THE END AND THE BEGINNING. What might that mean?

What might that mean? That does sound interesting, Riff. As to what it means.....we'll find out soon enough, I guess.

That does sound interesting, Riff. As to what it means.....we'll find out soon enough, I guess. I hope I didn't speak too soon. I've just read - well, skimmed - the new 5.22 spoilers (complete summary). Most of this sounds terrible to me. In fact, I'm already depressed. There's still a lot of room for interpretation, and there may be other scenes that aren't present in the summary, but, God... There seem to be three possibilities here: 1) This was how the season was supposed to end, with a cliffhanger for the next season. We were supposed to be left without closure on the Fred/Illyria situation. She seems to be pretending to Fred, but then again she seems to have Fred's love of Wesley. Amy has openly stated that Fred was to return next season, so I think that what is in 5.22 should be seen in that light. 2) Joss knows that there will be TV movies, a mini-series, or some other form of continuation. The cliffhanger is a prelude to this. 3) Following cancellation, a deliberate decision was made by Joss to end the series with the characters all about to die - a Butch and Sundance ending, in other words. This is for artistic reasons, of course. It isn't because Joss is a spoiled brat who's had his toys taken away and decided to have revenge on the fans who've been supporting him all this time and who have fought to save his show. It isn't that reason, at all.

I hate reading spoilers!
I don't know why I do it.
However, I've been wondering why Mercedes McNab is suddenly in the intro lineup- especially since she has not played a large role in the series lately.
since she is not being killed off, I guess she may come back in tv movies or whatever happens, perhaps as a pretty major character.
Hmmm....
I'm sad now. The spoilers made the end of the show more real.

If there are other places where spoilers can be found, I'd like to see the URLs. One place I went to was: www.spoilerslayer.com/archives/003041.phpI have absolutely no capacity for suspense and needed to know who was going to make it to the end and who wasn't, if any. Now I know and I feel better about watching the series final episode. Thank goodness for spoilers. Alexandra (Major wimpette)
