Hee! Yeah, Anne...I find Mohinder's godlike physical presence story quite interesting and was surprised to hear that other forums exhibit disinterest, nevermind antipathy toward him. *bites intellectually snobby tongue* So I finally watched the 1st half that I missed. Now I'm back to being interested in the Niki/Jessica story, since Micah was able to explain some of it to D.L. And I'm also not so miffed at Ando. Sometimes it IS the job of the sidekick to wait for the superhero to return. I still wish Ando could see that as something that's valuable in itself. I paused/ran/paused/ran the vid during the scene where Eden nabs Sylar so I could try to get a glimpse of his face when he fell "asleep" at her behest. I didn't see much, but he didn't look particularly like anybody we've met so far. He's just a plain-looking adult Caucasian male with dark hair and a slightish build, like Peter or Nathan. But I don't think it's either of them. Especially since the scene with the FBI where they found a picture of the one they called "Sylar" I'm very much looking forward to "6 Months Earlier" next week. Let them be disinterested; that's just mo' Moh for the rest of us. ;D Anne, although I'm more fond of Hiro, myself, I do appreciate the Mohinder-pretty **snickers** Mo' Moh is a very good thing. #smirk#

Dude, it's a published book. Anyone can read it.
Papa Suresh didn't want him involved because he was too emotional? Or something else?
Suresh makes his decision.

Part IV Sylar, with a sort of view of his face They're co-captains, and former BFFs and now cat fighters. Claire claims her identity, really brings her conflict into sharper focus for me. Shadow figure. So Sylar went and took Jackie by mistake. Just going by clues like the newspaper article and not any real knowledge of who's empowered. He slices their heads open by just pointing a finger? OMFG There's that painting. Peter's now indestructable. 8:13? Aaand there's that shot. But it's OK because he's indestructable at the moment. Hey, wait. Would Sylar be able to do anything to Claire at all? Because she recovered from her autopsy just fine.

Eden can put her whammy on Sylar. Is this with or without Daddy Bennett's knowledge?
Being arrested. So Peter will meet up with Matt soon.
Suresh's mission.
Who will protect you?
Did she kill him?
Flashback!

Lots of yellow in this episode.
lots of "getting back" at others Jessica and DL Micah and DL Claire and Jackie Mommy Bennett and Daddy Bennett
I hope that they're not gonna continue to use the "Save the cheerleader; save the world mantra," because I'm getting sick of it.

I only saw the 2nd half of the episide tonight due to being gone to my son's school holiday performance, but...am I alone here or did anybody else NOT miss the whole screwed up Niki/Jessica/DL thing? I only want to see more of it to make sure that Micah is all right, but...yeesh...what a screwy deal. I hope the writers salvage something decent out of that mess. I actually did miss it. I like the Niki/Jessica plot. I suspect that Jan's instinct is gonna be the right one - sexual abuse as a child gave her a serious dissociative disorder. Like that totally screwed up the manifestation of her power?

How on earth is D.L. going to survive a shooting by Niki/Jessica? He sees the flash of the scope, intuits that it's a rifle, and Kitty Prydes long enough for the bullet to pass through him? He was SERIOUSLY rattled when Micah told him that she knew where they were. Oh, yeah. He can do that. This didn't occur to Jessica. If she wanted to kill him, she'd have to do something like poison or drowning or something.

Well, I personally find Simone boring and the least convincing character. D.L., OTOH, is fascinating. But needs more screen time before I can comment much on his character. And I don't think anyone's forgotten that being around Niki isn't safe - but, as Matthew suggests, she's certainly not gonna see it that way. Good comments, everyS'cubie. I don't know if I can unvague my thoughts, but here goes: I think that the heart of the Niki!Jessica/DL conflict is an unresolved custody battle. Each of them thinks that the other is an unfit parent and dangerous for their son. Neither of them has the whole story, but they are both trying to do what they think is best for Micah. That conflict would be there whether there were superpowers involved or not; the powers add extra dimension to the argument, not to mention danger to all concerned. Speculative scenario - Niki is able to take back control, realises what's going on, is properly horrified, and is able to sit down and actually talk to DL rationally. She knows now that her mirror self committed the murders DL went to prison for. I'd like to think that at some point Niki (because Jessica isn't going to do it) and DL will be able to talk, and maybe use their shared strengths to protect Micah. Or they could just go on playing fugitive and hunter and taking pot-shots at each other until somebody really gets hurt... I dunno. Ooh! Again, interesting with the metaphors

Can you be stripped of tenure? I thought the whole point of tenure was that it couldn't be taken away in the u.s., at least, only if you do something really, really bad -- like, say, if it's proven that you've faked your research. i don't know if it's the same in india.

Claire didn't wake up during the autopsy until the examiner removed the pointy stick from her brain stem. So if Sylar removes her brain, she's dead. If I understand it correctly, Claire isn't completely indestructable, she regenerates.
