And what are the Haitian and Mr. Bennett up to? i've been wondering the same thing. it hasn't been made explicit in any way yet, has it? i can't remember ever hearing explicit mention of ukraine at all before the episode prior to this one, but i might just be forgetting. another interesting question! peter's ability doesn't seem to have any limits on how long he can mimic a power; would monica's be the same, or would it being physical mimicry make it different somehow? I think Monica's power is a completely different thing - we haven't seen her take on someone else's power the way Peter and Sylar do. She's mimicking physical activities she sees, like piano-playing, tomato carving and pro wrestling. On the other hand, Micah showed Monica his power, and she didn't mimic that. Although it would be interesting to see what happens when Monica runs across someone who has a highly visible power like flying... That doesn't get into limits, but since Monica was still carving tomato roses the day after she'd seen them on TV, maybe there aren't time limits to her power.

I was a bit disappointed in Kristen Bell's debut as Elle. me, too. so far her character doesn't seem to have much depth. i wasn't even a little bit shocked. i hope her character gets more layers added, and soon. so far the role of elle seems rather a waste of KB's acting talents. i wonder where elle ran into peter prior to this season. I would say yes, as Peter shot electric bolts from his hands, and that was the first time we saw him display that power. I figured she was the one who chained him in the bin thing. Or rescued him after he exploded.

has anyone noticed whether mr bennet is in the group photo? He wasn't, as far as I know. I don't think he would be...he's "middle management."

In the show before this, the Haitian said that he had a lead on the remaining Isaac Mendez paintings in Odessa... Mr. Bennett thought that meant he was going back to Texas...but the Haitian corrected him--the Odessa in the Ukraine

Sara mentioned that Monica had a 'muscle' mimicry power. The flying power isn't exactly a muscle power, since there are no flapping of wing/arms. So, she'd be hard pressed to mimic it in any way. Same as Hiro's power, or regenerating power. Micah's power is something that manifests from deep inside him. If Monica can't see how that power works, she can't mimic it. I still want to see how exactly Sylar absorbs powers. You don't suppose the company 'chipped' him already, like they are trying to do with Niki/Jessica? The mistake they made with Sylar was assuming that he'd want to join forces with them. His power must have been too great for them to want to destroy altogether. Also, I wonder if Peter was tied up for shipment to Mr. Goldenspoon to get his chip in place. That would mean that someone had to wipe his memory. The Haitian? If Elle is working for the company, Bob could be Elle's dad. Their power is a bit similar.

I got the following image/chart off the Primatech web site last season, which came from a hidden file about Sylar: Right under his feet it says "radio isotope injection upon delivery," so if I correctly understand the info we've been given in both the graphic novels and the show that means he has indeed been tagged. ETA: Here's what heroeswiki has to say about the mark, the syringe that causes it, and what's injected.

KB and her bit of "persuasion". "OK, I killed him. What is the big deal?" ;D and at the same time. "What if I promise not to . . . I'll come home now. Daddy." OMG! What if Bob is her dad? Then it'll be the flip version of HRG and Claire from last season!!! Interesting...even more interesting if you consider that HRG is Claire's adoptive father. Apparently some of the heroes are given away to the Company for safe-keeping, or something. My guess? Electrogirl is Bob's adoptive daughter. I'm guessing she's another Petrelli. I love the idea of a parallel HRG and blond adopted daughter. Another Petrelli? I'm trying to figure out how that would work. She's too old to be another Nathan love child. Peter is too close to her age. Other than a love child of unseen Papa Petrelli, what if she's a Peter twin, farmed out by the Company at birth? leftylady

Well, actually - that's exactly what probably happened. Individuals don't evolve, and if they've got it right (which, after some of last season's biology blurbs, I have no faith that they do), then one original mutation spreading through the population (due to drift or a selective advantage) is exactly how it ought to happen. Over the course of hundreds or thousands of years. That would explain all the blonde heroes. Well at least some of the blondes!!! Kensei as the progenitor of the Heroes species? Perhaps they are all related in some way. Over enough centuries of adventurers / world travellers it could have happened. If Kensei were immortal, perhaps Hiro will find him when he returns to the present. But does healing/regenerting really mean immortal? Can't they just age and then die? leftylady ps speaking of connections, could Grandma Uhura be related in some way to Charles Devereaux?

Part I

First Mohinder, now Nathan giving Matt a kick in the ass.
Matt's dad isn't the nightmare man; he's being hunted.

Part II
Ah, Nathan's dad is also part of the Twelve. I missed that.
Matt's dad can also block Matt?
Micah can play the piano.
Monica learns by watching Micah (so it's not just from the TV then).
TMWNN and Daddy Bennett are in Odessa already.
Oh, Matt's dad also reads minds. Which is the first instance we see of the next generation inheriting the exact same power as the parents. So maybe he's lying and his real power is something else.
WTF is up with that door?
