home.earthlink.net/~pltr/private/firework75.gif [/img] WELCOME to The Soulful Spike Society Part CCLVI!!!
It's Tuesday…therefore it must be BUFFY night! View 'The Puppet Show' and then race, bike, or speed walk over to the Buffy board and post your thoughts. Also on the front board, post your comments on Erin's new Angelphile reviews, Our Round Robin chapters, Sara's Firefly reviews, and the latest from Spring and Rob. Gold Medal winners all! Of course you can't comment on those things until you read them and they are all to be found on our website The Soulful Spike Society at www.soulfulspike.com. You will find a host of other delights there as well. Think of it as our Olympic Village. OR…stay right here and discuss the Olympics, avatars, Kenny, Carmen, your lives, Joss, the way it is, and the way it should have been... Remember that kindness scores higher than being correct, and spoilers are automatic disqualifications, so be nice to all, and keep the Firefly 'Serenity' rumours on the Spoiled Souls thread. Let the Games continue, S'cubies!

I should delete my question, then you'd be first, but I have a feeling it would cause a ripple effect...

Roman numerals?
Schmancy!
Julia, still recovering from a fast half mile on concrrete and five minute speed-shopping to catch the bus with 90 seconds to spare

Roman numerals? Schmancy! Julia, still recovering from a fast half mile on concrrete and five minute speed-shopping to catch the bus with 90 seconds to spare I always, for some fool reason, think of the shaved-headed woman I met who had DCLXVI tattooed on the back of her head/upper neck. She was unsurprisingly (well, to me) friendly when I complimented her on it... One thinks that, with ink like that, (and it wasn't all she had) that your employement options tend to get kinda limited to bartending in a very rough bar or being a tattoo artist, oneself..

Patti, I did that thing be and I were talking about with the fanfic quote of Spike. It's in Windows Media Player format, I think. I also tried saving it as a *.gif file but I don't know if that worked. Should I send it to you, or what? Um...I mean, *could* I?

Brian Setzer of the Stray Cats said the best advice his father ever gave him was to never get a tattoo he couldn't cover with a long-sleeve shirt, just in case he ended up in front of a judge some day.

Julia done said this:
The sympathy is very much appreciated.
Oddly, or perhaps not, the more actual pain I'm in, the quieter I am about it, from a shouting/swearing perspective. More clinched - fists, jaw, eyes - and then a semi-calm damage assessment.
There was a scream, once, though - the full-speed head-to-head collision. I think it was the surprise factor, though.

Well, that scream ended fairly quickly, if I'm not mistaken, and it's the one you knocked yourself silly on...

Well, that scream ended fairly quickly, if I'm not mistaken, and it's the one you knocked yourself silly on... Well, yeah, 'cause with the loss of consciousness. I remember the scream, but not the stuff right after that. And then the feeling of ground under my back and people wondering if I was okay. Surreal, really, the whole getting knocked out thing. Oops. Journal club. Must dash. Catch you all laters.
