The following quote is from a Horror-web.com Interview with CK I found on Buffynu.com: buffy.nu/article.php3?id_article=4160"... And especially with James [Marsters, ’Spike’] coming back to the show. Me and him are like peas in a pod [laugh] when it comes to acting. I have so much fun acting with that kid. We’re both kind of die hard... we want the scene to be the best that it can. So with me and James it’s like, when it comes to fight stuff, ’push me harder’ and he’s like, ’no push me harder,’ and I’m like ’ok... but push me harder’. We’ll give up the body to help the soul. And it’s a lot of fun working with him, he’s one of the most talented actors I’ve worked with."

I hate the thought of not seeing James acting regularly, of not knowing with certainity that I'll be seeing him display his talents (and various other attractive qualities) on such-and-such a date, etc. I just finished analyzing Fool For Love and I didn't even really try to put into many words how absolutely astounding James is in that episode. I am going to miss my exposure to new and fresh displays of that talent. Whether he is playing Spike or not, I hope he finds something worthwhile quickly, and that it is weekly TV show. I'd love to see him on the big screen also, but I want quantity AND quality.

Implies either youthfulness or immaturity. A bit o' both, I suspect.

My one-degree of separation from JM is via "kimi". When Alexandra visited Nashville we met her for dinner. She pretty much confirmed both of those implications--which is why a 40 year old has such a blast hanging out with band members half his age. Maybe that's part of what keeps him so young. Looking forward to back to back talk show visits next week. (Would love to see him on "The View")

Haven't heard from Kimi in ever so long. I guess between her new love and her grandchild she abandoned "Wolf" and the S3 board. But that's good, right? I mean, if her RL is so busy and fulfilling that she no longer has the time or inclination to post or write fanfic, then good for her....Right?

Maybe Alexandra recalls the conversation better than I, but kimi apparently has met (and spent time with) him at several fan conventions, (She's part of the BAPS group I think) and then also as a GOTR groupie/helper. She's also busy right now as an assistent to David Lavery the MTSU prof that is hosting the slayage.tv convention. I don't know if she's also involved in Writer Con or not. But I hope to see her at slayage and I'll ask if she's ever going to finish Wolf. (Did you get the email Mary sent out, or see my posting of it, regarding Journeys?) Sue

I gotta remember to turn on the notification thingy for this thread. Yeah, I got Mary's Email. It was good to get an update on her situation, although I was very sorry to hear she's been struggling with writer's block. It sounded pretty serious - in that it's been effecting her for a while now, to the point that she's made provisional plans to post her outline for the rest of her WIP in lieu of being able to finish it. That's really sad. I so hope she can shake it. I imagine it must be terribly frustrating for her. I replied to her Email but unsuprisingly (these days) have gotten no response. I had no idea Kimi had spent any significant time with JM. Maybe that was since Flashback last year, 'cos she and I exchanged a number of Emails about that last year and she never mentioned.... I too hope she'll return to "Wolf." Lately I've wondered if she'd decided to just abandon it. I'd supposed that between her new love and her grand-baby(babies?) that the happiness and excitement of RL had overtaken her time and inclination for writing fanfic. Let me know if you get a chance to talk to her about it. deborah

Mary is coming here the first weekend in June with her daughter (for gymnastics) and hopes to have a meet-up with myself and kimi. I'll quiz both on JM and fanfic. Sue

Sue Wolf was the only fanfic I ended up reading regularly other than Rob's. I wish she'd finish it too.
