Boone - Are we Lost? Locke - Lost? No. Poor, poor Charlie. He says he doesn't remember, but knows that all they wanted was Claire.

He says he doesn't remember, but knows that all they wanted was Claire. And how'd they make him not remember? Was that a dart wound on the side of his neck? He had "rope" burn in the front, and that looked very different.

Jack doesn't want to lose another baby. It was the woman being pregnant that caused him to tell the truth. yep!

Well, wasn't that sumptin'?
Did anyone else have little flashbacks of Merry and Pip being captured by the orcs and tossing their elvish pins so they could be followed when they found Charlies first bandage? I thought it was a cute homage.

Jack doesn't want to lose another baby. It was the woman being pregnant that caused him to tell the truth. Yes - and the realization that his dad had deliberately kept that from him. It just all came together for him in that moment: His father had ended the young woman's life, and with that, had ruined the young husband's life - the future he was looking forward to with wife AND baby . . . and Jack's father had hidden the extent of the hurt and damage he had caused - deliberately, to increase the odds of Jack not-telling. So it all comes clear for Jack - the extent of the damage, and the extent to which he was deliberately manipulated. Poor Jack. He did what he had to do.

So, what are you? Psychic? After reading your Captain Picard/Kirk comments, I was LOL on the redshirt comment by Boone. And how weird is it that another hobbit goes down in a plane in the desert? Oh, scratch that. Wasn't him. We are all having Hobbit flashbacks today!

And I'm joining you half way through - uh oh. Mud fight!! I saw the first half, but was distracted doing other stuff. Lots of daddy stuff going on in this episode. The black guy gets advice to "go south," then complains of being treated as a "second class citizen," then during backgammon, Walt says: "your black guys can't get in here." What is that about? Or am I imagining a trend there? I liked the Sayid/Sawyer non-confrontation. Jack's dad - Jack's going to have to do it. Look, he watches his dad manipulate the patient's husband the same way he manipulated him. I love The Flight of the Phoenix - the Jimmy Stewart version. I wonder if this will be as good. Maybe I shouldn't even watch it. Oh man, Jack is "transferring." Ethan = Dad. I'm not letting him do this again. Man - Jack's dad is slick. Poor, poor Jack. He's finally had it. Poor, poor, Jack. Poor, poor, Jack. I feel so sad for Jack. Hurley - a warrior? Maybe some Native American thing? Charlie? Oh - oh please come back. Oh, this is making me cry. C'mon Charlie. Yay! He shouldn't have lived through that. Hmmm. Jack is nearly as lucky as Walt. Hmmmm. That hour went by FAST! Locke went to the ridge, and Jack went further into the jungle. A lot of separation. Light/dark. I wonder what Walt meant by 'It's stupid to lie about your name." And he had another dad. I wonder if he wanted to stay with his stepdad, but Michael insisted he come with him.
