And now, for another edition of: Lost in Spring's brain.
[/li][li]Oh man. Boone is not looking so brotherly as he stares at Shannon and Sayid. Sayid: sooooo cute. Go, Shannon!
[/li][li]Sayid to Boone: "You are strange and offputting."
[/li][li]If MY brother messed with my budding relationship with Sayid, I would have to kill him. A girl has to have her priorities.
[/li][li]I wish I knew Korean. What did Jin say to Hurley? My guess: "You won't catch a snail with that sorry excuse for a spear, son."
[/li][li]Wounds: Lots of wounds - infection, wounds, bruises.
[/li][li]I thought peeing on a foot was for jellyfish stings.
[/li][li] Locke: Makes Boone adapt, due to new predator in the area? Like the piggies? But . . . why?
[/li][li]OK - so Boone and Shannon, not full bro and sis. Possibly not blood bro and sis at all. But - OK, Shannon goes around getting $$ from Boone by getting guys to act like they are beating her, so Boone will pay them off. I guess she takes half the $$ or something. Yet Boone thinks she is smart and special and is sooo protective of her. Something is missing from this picture.
[/li][li]OH - sex. That's what was missing from the picture. OK. I'm going to go with "not bro and sis at all, just for my own piece of mind.
[/li][li]Uh. Shannon. What is . . . she looks dead. Dead? Very Michelangelo moment there. Very Pieta. ("I'm working.")
[/li][li]So, Locke . . . did hit Boone on the head, did put medicine on his head . . . and then, I assume, untied him and left him to have his experience and revelation.
[/li][li]"Follow me." Oh boy.

Anybody else get the shivers when Locke said "Follow me."? And why does the big roaring thing seem to be seperating the men from the women? Or is that just me? Dead, not dead, Shannon. Sister, probably not blood sister? She's the one I'd like to slap. Didn't they make a point of saying they're only stepsibling? Remeber the whole thing with the cop noting that Boone wasn't a blood relation? Or am I the one who's confused?

Subtle. Nice shorthand between the two of them. Sibling language. Owie. I think it was Locke that whonked Sayid, now. Hmmm. Yep. Me, too. He seems to be running the show, doesn't he? What the heck is down that hatch? And is the compass messed up - or the island? Locke said he didn't need the compass anymore.

Yes - there was all that "your mom," "her dad" stuff, suggesting Boone's mom was married to Shannon's dad . . . for who knows how long, and they were stepsiblings. Sounds like Shannon's dad died, leaving all his money to Boone's mom . . . which Shannon uses to justify scamming Boone.

me too - I feel like I've been on the giant roller coaster.... Those quick turns hurt! I was SO SURE Shannon was dead...and like Boone, I felt....relieved... cause: BITCH and : proof the big bad thing really exists - and his hallucination (or whatever) was the same as what happened to the pilot but I guess that would make sense. They all must be afraid of that now. Locke may not be 'evil' to his own mind, but he is SO NUTS! And did he tamper with the compass or is the big metal thing magnetic? This show has so many pieces every week I find it almost impossible to discuss it coherently. Hurley - so funny - laughed so hard when he was grabbing at Jin's crotch! LOL!! Sun - annoying but she does love Jin and I get the lying thing. But...how about if she and Kate fake a few English lessons for her AND Jin? Did I say Locke evil yet? Sawyer was being arrested when Boone was in the police station! Sayid, Boone was right. Stay AWAY from Shannon! Eww and eww she is as worthless as Boone said she was.

Man, that and the "not blood relations" thing explains all the weird vibe between them for all the preceeding shows, don't it? "Attached at the hip" Why did I think "slash" first thing? because you've been trained...

Yep. Me, too. He seems to be running the show, doesn't he? What the heck is down that hatch? And is the compass messed up - or the island? Locke said he didn't need the compass anymore. Is Hurley's thinking messed up, or is Jin actually as messed up as Hurley thinks? I'm going with Hurley's thinking. Is Boone's brain messed up, or are his surroundings actually as they seem? Well, it was his brain. Is the compass messed up, or the island messed up? Those comparisons make me think: compass messed up. But who knows? I think it's time for a end to adding mysteries for awhile, and a beginning to providing us a few answers . . . pretty please?

Oh. My. Gosh. They're gonna need a bigger boat. What the heck was that? A giant bunny? It looked like a big green swirley thing to me. Bunny? Did you see a bunny? I guess it could have been a giant tan foot I saw... Locke knew he was going to whack Boone all along - he was mixing that stuff...

All right, THAT explains the whys of the way they were behaving the way they were. Am I weird in that I found that really hot, as the culmination of a sixteen-year (or longer) unspoken-of love affair? Oh, she looks pretty damned dead. Yes, you are weird, but we knew that. I found it really disgusting, as in the completely cruel manipulation of his emotions. What a slimy human she is.

Oh, BITE ME!! God, I'd still beat the shit out of Locke. ETA: Especially after that final bit with Boone. He virtually brainwashed the guy. I can completely see some episode where Locke's pet 'beast' turns on him...

You'd better take back what you are saying about my poor, sweet, innocent little Shannon! I mean, she HAD to bilk that money out of Boone after what her daddy did to her. And then seducing Boone, well - he was asking for it, wearing those tight clothes and . . . looking all smouldery. But seriously, it was good for Boone to realize that he had this unhealthy obsession thing going with Shannon - though that's quite the psychiatric method Locke came up with. But then, collection agents for box companies aren't constrained by the American Psychiatric Associations bylaws.

I think Spring missed it because she was busy staring at Sawyer as he was lead through the police station during that critical scene.
