I can completely see some episode where Locke's pet 'beast' turns on him... Oh - I don't think Locke has a "pet beast" of any kind. I really think that . . . what Boone dreamed up was all about Boone, including the beastie.

Anybody else get the shivers when Locke said "Follow me."? And why does the big roaring thing seem to be seperating the men from the women? Or is that just me? Dead, not dead, Shannon. Sister, probably not blood sister? She's the one I'd like to slap. Definitely not blood sister, according to Boone. And no, not just you - I thought the same thing, but now she's not dead so - does it not count? I am so completely whu.....? about this show. Nothing is getting clearer. Even the backstories don't clear up much. For instance, Sawyer - bad guy right? No...bad guy turned good guy, pretending to be bad guy. Right? No....there he is being arrested in the flashback tonight. All I know is...Sayid and Sawyer still pretty.

No, you were right. I think Spring missed it because she was busy staring at Sawyer as he was lead through the police station during that critical scene. Man, you got me pegged. Again!

Didn't they make a point of saying they're only stepsibling? Remeber the whole thing with the cop noting that Boone wasn't a blood relation? Or am I the one who's confused? No, it's me. I missed that. Darn family. So, step siblings makes sense. Good. I was getting a little squicked out during the bedroom scene.

ticks me off SO much when the board won't let me quote!!!
So...Spring said..
LOL! Perfect!
nice catch Spring!
and I didn't capture the last bit I wanted to quote - but no, I don't think Locke untied Boone. I think that part of what we saw was real. Boone's manipulated hallucination, if that's what it was, did motivate him to bend far enough to reach that knife.

Yep. Me, too. He seems to be running the show, doesn't he? What the heck is down that hatch? And is the compass messed up - or the island? Locke said he didn't need the compass anymore. maybe he didn't need it cause the metal thing had screwed up the compass so it's worthless. But I think the island has screwed up the compass, and Locke is screwing with all of them.

It looked like a big green swirley thing to me. Bunny? Did you see a bunny? I guess it could have been a giant tan foot I saw... Locke knew he was going to whack Boone all along - he was mixing that stuff... IT made me see a bunny! Or something hopping. I can't wait until "Alias" is over so I can rewind my tape and try to get a better look at the bigfooted bunny. Hee - whack Boone. Whack a Boone. Ok. Stopping now. Was he mixing up that stuff before he had him tied up? It looked like poi to me. I thought he was going to feed him at first.

Is Hurley's thinking messed up, or is Jin actually as messed up as Hurley thinks? I'm going with Hurley's thinking. Is Boone's brain messed up, or are his surroundings actually as they seem? Well, it was his brain. Is the compass messed up, or the island messed up? Those comparisons make me think: compass messed up. But who knows? I think it's time for a end to adding mysteries for awhile, and a beginning to providing us a few answers . . . pretty please? Between this and Veronica Mars my brain is on overload...pretty soon I'm going to hallucinate Lily on the island and Locke is Veronica's father!

You'd better take back what you are saying about my poor, sweet, innocent little Shannon! I mean, she HAD to bilk that money out of Boone after what her daddy did to her. And then seducing Boone, well - he was asking for it, wearing those tight clothes and . . . looking all smouldery. But seriously, it was good for Boone to realize that he had this unhealthy obsession thing going with Shannon - though that's quite the psychiatric method Locke came up with. But then, collection agents for box companies aren't constrained by the American Psychiatric Associations bylaws. I"m thinking we'll later find out MORE about what Shannon's daddy did to her, cause I'd hate to think she got this manipulative and sleezy without a better excuse than money.

Did they dream up him being ripped apart and spread in the treetops? More than one person saw that and nobody had gunked 'em up with hallucinogenic paste that we know of.

Yes, he was mixing it while they were sitting - while he was giving Boone the Michaelangelo story. I think he said it would be needed later...

Heee! Hi Sawyer!!! Huh. No blood relation. That reduces the squick factor quite a lot. "Pee on it!" Huh Does Jin understand English too? Huh. There's a verb I haven't heard in a while. "Orienteering" Hell, I'm impressed. Most English Native speakers don't know that one. I've heard of that. There's a place around here you can go where they give you a map and you have to find your way around in the woods. I've always wanted to do that, but I get lost at the mall.

So is that Shannon, or a mentally produced simulacrum of Shannon? Oh. I was thinking a MAJOR magnetic anomoly. Monopoles or something. Well, he can check it against his needle compass. You called it. I really thought she was dead. Now I'm wondering if Claire was just a figment of everyone's imagination. Or something.
