That Teddy Bear Picnic commercial was almost as weird as the episode. (I have no idea what it was advertising) When did Angelus sing the song?
I was definitely not surprised when Shannon died; though the circumstances surrounding her death were a shock - I thought the Others would kill her. And wet Walt speaking in tongues is creepy. Is that kid looking several inches taller or is my memory deceiving me?
In the previews for next time, it looked like some of the Tailies taken by the Others were children. Also, one of the Tailies asked if they'd seen "the kids" after the recent sighting of the Others was disclosed.
Poor Sayyid.
Now who's going to take care of Vincent, and let Vincent take care of them?
I heard somewhere that Dom Monaghan was romantically involved with whassername who plays Kate....
GAIL

We gotta keep goin. Well. Yes, and he needs medical attention - Jack and the bunker supplies, for example - but he can't keep moving. Maybe something to carry him? Yes! a stretcher! Um. "What they did to us"? Why do I get the vibe she means more than just take some of them. She did see Walt. Remember how you all laughed at Claire when she said someone was trying to take her and her baby? Well . . . Someone else missing . . . whispers . . . Run!!

GAIL About Walt: Jan says the kid playing Walt has really sprouted up since last season, hence the need to have him kidnapped and out of sight and only show him in very brief scenes. After all, he's only been on the island a few weeks right? Too bad adolescent growth spurts don't take direction.

Boone was gonna try to get the money for Shan . . . but then he goes to work for mom. And then he offers money and she refuses. Ah - and it all hinges on "do you believe me". So now we see where it all started . . .
I need you to believe in me. No one does. They think I'm worthless.
Ah, and then . . . I know you're just gonna leave me.
Aw - and then: I will never leave you. I love you. I believe you.
Eeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeep, whispers again!
Shut up you daft girl! Mystic Walt is telling you to be quiet, so you be quiet! HOLY crap! Shannon is the next one to die?
Well, dang.
HOLY HOLY crap! Ana killed her?! ?! Oh Sayid's gonna take you down so hard.
Huh. Extended ep next time. Getting to learn about the other folks on the plane. Cool!

uh... anybody else freaked out by the "teddy bears picnic" x-box commercial? Or is it just impressed on my mind from Angelus singing it in that ep? Between Angelus and our new name of Clan of the Teddy Bear, the commercial was positively surreal.

She should mention that it's the second time she's seen him... Huh.. Charlie gonna feed Turniphead, too? No he doesn't believe you. Huh.. gainfully employed? That was my surprised reaction too. Huh is a good response. ;D

THERE's a great "WTF" face. Poor Sayid!!! All confused.. Thin's not good for envelopes.. She GOT it? Oh crap.. Dad didn't, couldn't entail anything with a living trust. Stepmom there is Evil. Yup. I so thought we were gonna see Sawyer die. So of course they throw us someone else. But then, once I figured out it was Shannon that was gonna get it, they put in another curve ball by having Ana L be the killer, not the Others.

God damn it. I knew it when they started doing her back story. \ I shoulda known it faster from the whole theme of loss and death. But they suckered me good.

Boone... now we see the beginnings of Shannon breaking her relationship with Boone... That was a "no" face Boone had on.. ATTAGIRL! on the growling at Sayid... You play yourself off as worthless, and you've believed it yourself. And hello to the abandonment issues. "I will never leave you, and I love you, and I believe you" Guess he's marked for the cannibal zombie dinner list next. **nods** **nods even more** **nods so much her head falls off** Nice double-triple plot switch up.

God damn it. I knew it when they started doing her back story. Dammit. That's particularly Jossian of them--fill out Shannon's history, make us have all this empathy for her, and then take her away. Brutal. And all because she was trying to help Walt. Meanwhile, it'll be interesting to see what this does to Ana's tough-girl facade. Very good point. And now they've met up with the other plane people and everyone is gonna just look at her as the killer of Shannon. Not a good way to introduce yourself. Of course, it's because of their experiences and their panic, but still . . .

Rich! I was totally shocked. Should've guessed when one of 'the tail- enders' went missing. Mom mentioned a good point: the missing tail-ender was one of the ones shown as being missing. What if Shannon dying is the red herring, rather than the other way around? Oooooh. A double-triple-quadruple plot twist thing, eh?

Yeah: I'm actually impressed and annoyed at the same time. I was CERTAIN Sayid was marked for death when he made that redshirt speech to her. Didn't read the signs right. One of them was gonna die, but it wasn't him. And yeah, Ana-L looks to be on the edge of losing it, right there.... Yeah wasn't it a red shirt speech though? Sayid: "Shannon, I love you and I'll never leave you!" Shannon: "Oh Sayid! You're what I've been searching for my whole life! ... and I know Oswald did not act alone! And when we get back, I can prove it." #rofl1#
