Charlie ain't lookin' too good. Humour's not his strong suit. And I'm saying this to you. ;D And I think Charlie used a gun pretty damn well, actually. Very well, frankly, especially for a musician. More female bonding with Sun and Kate. As complicated as Jin being the last one on the island to find out you spoke English? Ouch! Ah! So Kate doesn't know about balloon-man. I knew she didn't want a baby. Cool - we get a bit of his story. He did run away to America, but the relationship didn't work out. Hmmmmm. Maybe it's gonna turn into an affair after all. Awwww. Ana L and Sayid are so pretty . . . . all angsty and pouty and broody. They'd make a pretty couple, if, you know, I didn't kill her for taking my Sayid.Damn. Good for you Ana, a straight apology. Huh. Sayid has turned all his anger onto the Others. They're to blame for Shannon's death. Sayid is my sweet island baby. Awwww. Delusional again, are we? Did you have your usual crazy flakes this morning? **smiles sweetly at Spring**

Ana-Lucia is a good interrogater. Maybe only when it's not personal? Map, find the balloon. Duh. Apparently had been requested before, but off screen. OK. Looking for a scapegoat, not far off, but he's still lying. Once again, Hurley gets caught by some one who also has something to hide. So the island cured Sun like it did Locke? Monsoon season picking up? So everybody knows about Henry. Of course. Hee. Jack and Locke are a little too busy worrying about Locke and Jack. True dat.Ana-Lucia is quite the go-getter once she's calmed down a bit. Yep. I loved that line. ;D

But what about Second Breakfast? Hee. Charlie is like alternately helpful and hindering. He's learning social interaction all over again. No oyster here. Sawyer. Ass. Like hearing the conversation from Jin's perspective. Jin is breaking my heart here. God, I heart Daniel Dae Kim. Ah, Jin is the one. So it's not the island after all. I like that better. Or did the island cure Jin? Or is Sun lying? I loved those scenes. Jin was breaking my heart, too. And it was really cool to hear their conversation from Jin's perspective. I've been wondering if not being able to understand anyone was getting to him. Poor thing.

Oh, please please please let it rain on them!! Charlie, you are pretty damn chipper in the morning. Thank you, Lost makers, for wet Sayid. Oh, I love wet Sayid. And he's being all masterful and smouldering. Mmmmmmm. Bernard is too cute. And then, OMG, Shirtless Sawyer! Sexy DDK, wet Sayid and shirtless Sawyer. It's the trifecta of Sex!Uh, guys? I think Jin understands a bit of what you're saying. And that's what it took to make her tell him. For him to come to her in need. Is she going to tell him she had an affair? Oh, holy hell! It's Jin that can't have children . . . and if the doctor told . . . . Woah. And her dad would probably have killed Jin. So, the baby is not his? No! It's a magical island baby!! Yup! One magical island baby, coming up. Unless that look on her face means she was lying to him. (Those clever Lost creators, always setting it up so it could be mystical or real world.) Hey! Don't forget freshly-showered Jack!! On second thought . . . go ahead and forget him. He's my woobie, all mine!!! ;D *sigh* This was the bestest episode ever. Jin, Jack, Sayid, Sawyer, Ana-Lucia . . . #thud# I need to visit my bunk for a while. ;D

The Whole Truth: Sun-->Jin, Henry-->everybody. Suggests that the full explanation will be complicated.
Locke and Jack still have the cereal. Hurley set up that feast a while back rather than rationing the food, so I thought it would be all gone. Of course Hurley hoarded some for himself. So did Jack and Locke do the same?

I think the food is being replenished somehow. Henry asked Jack and Locke how old the cereal was. I screwed up taping Lost, so I only saw the first 20 minutes or so and the last 10 or so. Of what I did see - I loved 3 Sawyer in his glasses and Jack in the towel - and that look Locke gave him when Jack asked Locke "Couldn't you have waited until I was done in here?" Hee, hee. Makes me wonder what Jack was doing in that shower.... I also loved the looks on both Hurley's and Sun's faces when they surprised each other in the jungle. LOL! Talk about deer caught in the headlights. Loved the scene between Sun and Jin at the end - I figure now, one or the other of them is toast. Oh - do you suppose it's Jin's baby? So, I missed the meat of the episode. Do you think they do have milk?

It would only have been perfecter if he'd been reading wearing the sparkly rhinestone glasses. ;D Plus, I love that they keep the continuity of having him reading all the time.

Also maybe suggests that there is a step farther they haven't gone to yet - "nothing but the truth"? So, truths come out but there are also still lies? Well, Jack and Locke have been hoarding/rationing the info, so why not food too. Maybe they're being mysteriously resupplied and they're all studiously avoiding thinking about how that happens. I mean, Henry is probably an Other, but he's right about a couple things - like their issues and the wierdness of them just accepting all this odd stuff.

Random thoughts -
I'm not convinced that The Island healed Jin. He might not have been sterile, just had a low sperm count, so pregnancy was improbable but not impossible. There's another possibility - Maybe the doctor was ordered to lie, twice, by Sun's father. No possibility of children, marriage disintegrates, Sun remarries father's choice. Yes, I am insane.
Now, if Rose comes up pregnant, I might have to rethink that theory.
That Henry is a right mixer. I think he's One of the Others, and he's running psychological tests on the group. I also think he'd better watch himself, or Sayid is going to invalidate his experiment the hard way.
The scene where Ana-Lucia opens up to Sayid and apologises for killing Shannon - that was good. I learned more about her in that, what, 40 seconds, then in all the flashbacks. Sayid seems to be refocusing his rage. You didn't kill her, the Others did? Oh, boy, this is not going to be pretty.
I liked the snarking between Charlie and Ana-Lucia.
That's all I've got. I'm going to go read the thread.

Um, ok so the baby did fix things. For now. Of course. It's a magical island baby. It probably also works as a radio and has wings. Or MiB, for short. Place is gonna be overrun, soon.

He's voracious enough he's gonna run out of Lostaway books: he's gonna have to move on to the bunker library. I'm glad that they have at least one addicted bibliophile on the island. Layers. Sawyer has 'em. Like an onion. Or a parfait.
