Maybe the blinky thing was the President's Escape Pod from Air Force One. Escape From Crapphole Island. Send in Snake Plisken!!! Well, nightitme is better, as you didn't see anyone dying at night. Shoulda explained that to Charlie. And then tell Charlie not to pull on any gorram tripwires. So who's this Ruth chickie? Ah. This must be pre-Penelope. Got drunk and went off to join the Jesuit Legion. "Off with the sheep" Well, yeah, that might be an even worse signal than a monastary? "Hi there, I'm here to swing my penis around, Jack." "We don't play every 108 minutes, the hatch is gonna explode" "strange being back and by the way, I'm still schtupping Kate" Oh, the subtextual joviality, and the homoerotic tension, and then the jealousy. "Mate" not "Brother" Tell him not to pull on any strange wires. Catch 22 in some weird-ass language with a picture of Desmond and Penny in it. Ardil-22 is Portuguese for "Catch-22"(thanks, Google!) Satelite phone can be recharged from the crap in the village of the darned, if Sayid is given it. *bounces eagerly*

Heeee! Whistling BOTRK moment. ;D Sacrifice and tests and a punch in the nose. Themes, much? Jack brings the sardonic truism. "Enjoy it. I'm sure something will go wrong soon enough." See Kate flirt with Jack. See Jack sort of flirt with Kate. Flirt, Kate, flirt. Smile enigmatically, Jack, smile enigmatically. Flirt! Smile! Go sit with new girlfriend, Jack. See Kate go all frowny. See Kate go jump Sawyer's bones in an effort to use sex to assuage her emotional pain. Smooch, Kate, smooch! (And take off his shirt already, woman!) Shut up, Sawyer, and hit that! Bring the sex and angst like nobody's business. People, people, people. How many times will you ignore my sensible and logical advice. Threesome. There's always room for a threesome. OK, back to the beach blanket bingo crew. Heeee! The guy with a hook story in Korean and Hurley still falls for it. ;D Des is expecting Penny to come there, for sure. Ooops. Helicopter go boom. Ah - the lights in the sky are a jumper? Parachute with emergency beacon thingee?

I am afraid that if Charlie does not die, one of the other 3 guys will. If not Charlie, It may be either Desmond. Jin. or Hurley. Please not Hurley! Not Jin! I am betting someone other than Charlie dies tonight.
What if it's Desmond who dies?
As long as it's not Vincent....

He's seeing a plane, I think. yes , I think a plane, with a parachuter. But I dont think it will be Penny, like Desmond does. I too have my doubts.

That in itself spells doom when there is a death possibility.

I really like Desmond's character. It would be a shame, but I would rather keep, Jin, and Hurley and Charlie.

Oh shit, does Desmond think that letting Charlie die will bring Penny to the Island? That's the vibe I got. But whether he will actually let the whole thing play out like that . . . . I get the impression that Desmond is willing to sacrifice Charlie in the hope that Penny can be found and rescued.

Oh shit, does Desmond think that letting Charlie die will bring Penny to the Island? Could be. The stormy sky looks like the sky from the intro to Gilligan's Island, when the Minnow is Lost. Oooh! Cerberus!!! He looks better with scruffiness and long hair. Mmmmmm yes indeedy. And the guy also referred to the initial vow of silence thing as a test, too. ;D Oooooh, that's the ultimate secret of the Island - it's where Batman's underground lair is hidden! ;D

Wow. Sawyer didn't actually swing his cod at Jack. He just kept the info to himself, except for letting Kate know he wasn't in the dark.
Penelope reads Portuguese? I think it's more likely one of her Ice Station ZebraƓ agents.
Ah, drunk monk....
Ah, darnit, Brother Superior, take a swig and give him another opportunity.
CRAP. What a bunch of crappy monks.
Well, maybe not. And now we see the compassion in his face.
"Whatever comes next"
"Dude, even if I spoke Korean, it wouldn't make sense"
And now, the pre-death conversation.
And Desomond is keeping an eye on the trap....Whoa, did it peg his guitar?
