Going to look in the hidden rooms in the Caduceus Station? "Pregnant off the island" so, hope that it's not Jin's.... "Within a day" strains credulity. Pretty stairwell. Ah, her father's company. So she's gonna ask her father for the Danegeld? So she's gonna not blackmail Daddy, but guilt him. Semi-blackmail. Huh. he hears it's Jin, and pays right up. Interesting indeed. So THAT is how Jin got promoted to Special Projects. "Does it work?" "Like I'd tell you?" I love Hurley. Ah. collapsed lung. And now portuguese again. No, she didn't say "thank you" because that's "Obrigado" Caduceus hatch... Christ, why don't they move THERE? Light, running water.. creepy medical ambience....Juliet is giving a bit of truth out now. And Sun can see it. Too bad she doesn't know that it isn't good news. So, don't tell Jin. EVER. This is something he does NOT need to know. Especially as the guy is dead... Sunbaby just will be very premature, but healthy. HEEE!!! Secret panel. It's like Scooby Doo. Ah. They just packed everything into it. I think Sun is maybe a little nervous she didn't tell anyone she was leaving.. Hee!

Yeah, me too. Sun's got more of her daddy in her than she likes to think. What I want to know is who is Jin's daddy...could be anyone...could be Sun's daddy. Oh, ew. I don't suppose he could be the half sibling of one of the other Losties. Who might have spent time in Korea? Kate's NotDad? Jack's Dad?

So, a couple of observations from a podcast I listen to; they were made in reference to last week's episode, but as our parachutist (listed as Naomi by the ABC press material) was also prominently featured this week they still seem worth considering: 1. Did Naomi actually jump out of the helicopter the boys saw and heard crash? Helicopters generally aren't used for long-range flying, and helicopter pilots don't normally wear the kind of gear Naomi was. 2. In fact, the podcast guys all felt her clothing and gear were more reminiscent of a HALO (High Altitude Low Opening) jumper, who would need oxygen because of the altitude at which they begin their descent, than a helicopter pilot—choppers don't normally go up so high as to require the people onboard to use oxygen, as the thinner air makes it much more difficult for the helicopter to remain aloft. So, perhaps the helicopter crash was staged to mask the sound of an airplane flying overhead. Or maybe it a ruse concocted to help place another mole within the Losties camp, someone who, unlike Juliet, could join them without causing even a hint of suspicion among the castaways. Huh. Yeah, a helicopter flying all the way out to the island doesn't make any sense.

So, in an effort to explain things in a rational way
*Mikail's NotDead!
-Maybe he wasn't really dead after going through the fence thing. Possibly the fence stuns, not kills. Or Mikail faked, though that was a pretty impressive fakery. Locke/Sayid/Kate/Rousseau just leave him on the ground, right? Did they check that he was actually dead?
-Possibly Mikail has a twin? Though it would be odd for both to have the same eye missing.
*They found the plane and everyone is dead!
-The Others could have staged it.
-All the plane pieces are in the water now. It's possible that investigative crews can find the pieces, but they couldn't find the island itself.
Also, I'm on crack.

Yeah, I was thinking that too . . . Oh, well, just chalk it up to that magical mystical Island thing. Fixes sperm and punctured lungs but also sends rampaging smoke and polar bears after you; kills pregnant women but lets you fix their conception within a day. I guess it's all just trade offs, eh? ;D I have so much big love for Hurley. ;D Yeah, I don't think anything could make me move into the creepy flickering light hospital bunker. That place totally creeps me out. Plus, it's probably bugged - and there are probably secret passages and everything. Although, Julia could help with defending that. I really wonder what Benry has on her. Must be something big - or else she just really, really wants off the island. I don't think it could be a reason good enough to use Sun's baby for The Others evil plans, tho. Oh, it was way creepy with those flickering lights and such. I'm still freaking out about Mikhail being alive. Can Ethan be far behind? Eeeeeep!! Don't say that! 'Cuz Ethan is creepy creepy creepy! Even in scenes where he is supposedly ordinary guy? Creepy!

<snipped> And now portuguese again. No, she didn't say "thank you" because that's "Obrigado" <snipped> Nope. According to a couple of places I visited, what she told Mikhail was "I am not alone." Oooooooooooooooooooooooh! Cool.

I think that woman had told Hurley the truth . . . there were no survivors of Flight 815. I think that the island is some kind of spiritual way station in which the passengers' souls are being examined and judged before they move on. Like the Albert Brooks/Meryl Streep movie, "Defending Your Life". I believe there is something similar in both Egyptian mythology and West African mythology. If that is the case I am going to be one pissed off person. I feel it is too easy of a cop out for them to finish the series in that fashion. That theory has been around since season 1. I beleive the writers have already shot down a purgatory type ending. Hmmmmm. I think at this point I could believe almost any possible outcome. Although, currently I'm liking the "alternate universe" theory. (Course, that may be because AU is one of my favorite plots. ) But I also keep going back to when the writers/creators would say they are going to have things happen that have both a mystical and a real life explanation. Just to keep things open.

Part I Secrets and lies. Sun's suspicions of Jin, suspicions of Jack. Observant. Oops. Don't tell Juliet that you're pregnant. But good for her for demanding answers. She speaks Chinese, too. It's... Mikail. WTF!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! **nods, nods, nods a lot**

Part II Go Jin!!! That was awesome. She speaks Italian too. This is such a sweet scene between Sun and Jin's father. Juliet wakes her up in the middle of the night, rather than, say, going during the day. Why so secretive? Exactly!! I mean, if she was just being purely helplful, well . . . It's not like other folks don't already know she was involved with pregnancy stuff. Why hide her conversation with Sun? Because she didn't want anyone else coming with and spoiling her spying!

Part III So... the Caduceus Hatch wasn't abandoned. Dude, I would have insisted that some one else come with me before I follow Juliet anywhere. Hmm... so that's why Jin became a hitman. Was the money worth it? Hee, love the look that Charlie gives Hurley. "Like I'd tell you." Hee. Now Portuguese. Juliet's lost 9 patients in the last nine years. Was what's what's her name who Sun shot on the boat also pregnant? I'm helping you because I want to give good news again. Do we believe her? Aha! A trap door! Don't worry about it. Are you fucking kidding me? It's where we brought the women to die. But it's a hidden room. Did they really die then, or are they just thought to have died? Maybe their children were actually born, and became the Clan of the Teddy Bear, unbeknownst to The Others. Oh, now that is an intriguing thought, about the Teddy Bear kidlets.

Or she fell thru a wormhole or a Bermuda Triangle type hole. *passes back the crack pipe*
