Oh, you could so be right about Weevil. I'll state for the record that I'm not going to like that one bit. EETAH about Logan. There is a lot of story and room for growth there. (Also - cute, but in a sonly way. Darn it.) ETA: You changed your title, Sue! Well, you'll always be Spikes' #1 Minion to me. That's cause she's this board's moderator and moderators are William's minions. She's still Spike's #1 Minion on the main board.

Hmm, will wait to see if it returns to normal or I'll contact a technopagan. (Altho I've seriously considered changing it to: Spike's #1 Slacker.)

<snip> Plus, I'm not as worried about Keith dumping or hurting her as Wallace and Veronica are. Veroinica is so . . . . hopeful and, frankly naive when it comes to her mom. I really don't see a big future for Lianne and Keith. i thought the same thing about veronica. i thought wallace had it right in what he said & implied--that veronica was merely assuming that it was all going to work out in a particular way. i wondered, watching the show, if once he calmed down, he realized it was unlikely to turn out that way and that veronica was simply blinded by being too close to the situation.

So what/who are the 'Weapons of Class Destruction". And does that refer to 'class' as in social standing? i thought it was a play on words - the literal (the talk throughout of school destruction), the socioeconomic, and the metaphorical breaking apart of various things within veronica's class (both the journalism class and the entire grade).

yes, much chemistry. I was so happy just that he came to rescue her and then that she kissed him so sweetly in this friendship thing and then....wow....kapow...very real seeming kissage. I hope they don't run from each other now. Did you see his face in that last scene? I didn't expect them to get there so soon. Goodbye Mr. Deputy guy... this summarizes just about exactly how i felt. i was another person who was ambivalent about V/L, but tonight's episode convinced me right along with them. their acting off of each other throughout this episode was simply amazing to watch.

Just finished watching the ep - some very quick comments, 'cause it's midnight and I need to go to bed:
[/li][li]Loved the Keith & Alicia match-up. Loved being just as surprised as Wallace and Veronica. Almost as good as if Giles & Joyce had actually gotten together. [/li][li]Veronica is plenty deluded about how simple it would be for Keith & Lianne to get back together. Neither one of her parents has expressed any such desire. [/li][li]Oh, crackers - and I do mean firecrackers! Yes, yes, I think I am beginning to see some chemistry between Veronica & Logan after all. Bold move on the show's part to just dive right into it. [/li][li]Duncan was wearing THE sweater - the one he was wearing poolside as he sat there motionless. I really got the impression that, when he was yelling at Veronica, his memory was starting to come back. I believe he has remembered "who done it," be it himself or someone else. And he just couldn't take it. [/li][li]So dad is dating your best friend's mom, and you are kissing your late best friend's boyfriend, and said boyfriend is kissing you - and you are the ex of HIS best friend. This best friend thing is getting very complicated, I must say.
Quite the episode. I shoulda taped it, but didn't

Okay, that's all until I rewatch and review. Sigh--by now Spring would have 3 or more running themes. How does she see all those things. Not that I'm comparing myself to her---- that way lies madness.I'm gonna play to my strengths.....soon as I figure out what they are. (Kidding, I'm a great plodder.) Oh, and priorities: Jim called at 8:15 to tell me about dinner with Tom and I pointed out that VM was on. (Well, actually I used the excuse that I couldn't really talk freely about the wayward son with Allie hanging around.) Madness, huh? Sue - your reviews have been just fine and dandy, and together, we've got a rep for "the best VM reviews on the 'net!" Hold your head up high! And then put your head down, and start to type! Go to it! You know how Mr The Bloody gets when we're late.

What ire? Logan IS the Spike of this show! He's the smart ass with the heart of gold - that kissing scene and their reaction was so....OMWF I felt like I was watching a re-run. She also called the swords 'pointy'. Agree. I remember pegging Logan as the "Spike" of the show after the first ep, I think. I'd have to go back and look at the thread, but I know this is not a new idea - or anything anyone got upset about. And as far as V/L - I love both characters, and have nothing against their pairing at all . . . I do think they are both in very bad and fragile emotional shape and I'm not sure this will . . . be of the good, right off. But they are very similar. I've mentioned before that I thought Logan's name - Echolls - is quite deliberate and he is meant to be "her echo." They've been paralleling the two of them since the first ep, and definitely setting them up in various ways for a possible match up - just didn't expect to see it so soon! I like the boldness of that move though, for the show. It's different that the usual "let the chemistry perocolate till you drive the viewers nutty" routine.

;D Oh, there was chemistry all right! They had plenty of . . . chemistry. Yep. Totally taken aback. And what is Veronica gonna do now?! My guess is that Logan is going to try to follow-up on this, but Veronica will want to slow things down or possibly halt them. That look he gave her when he saw her again . . . I think he's hoping for more contact. Veronica was the one who seemed to feel more awkward and such. I think it will all feel like too much for her - I mean, Leo feels nice and safe and Logan feels scary and Veronica . . . the place she's at right now, I can see her being very afraid of pursuing anything passionate and scary because - well, that's very high risk stuff. Of course, that kind of resolve can be - well, easier said than done. We'll just have to see what road she takes.

Seems plausible that Abel Koontz is involved somehow. Buy why kill Lilly? What could they have been arguing over that would've made him angry enough to kill her? I'm leaning towards Lianne. Abel is a big "no way" for me. Duncan did it, or he knows who did. He was there - he did it or he saw who did it - and it has come back to him (or it is starting to come back). And it was so awful that he took off.
