Big Damn Moment. And where the heck was Wallace? Did I miss him? I'm betting it was him who showed up at V's door. Mom telling him about Keith before she went to the hospital. How happy was I to see the scene between Keith and Wallace's mom? Very. But - that bitch - Lianne! I was so happy to see Alicia at his side at the hospital. (How sad was it when he told her he needed to give his family a chance? That's just so . . . Keith!) The moment in the hospital and when Keith tells Veronica she's really his daughter were the two big "get a bit teary" moments for me.

A cool resolve? WTF? Cool if you're into angst in a big way. Resolved, in that we now know he didn't murder Lilly. But other than that, not cool or resolved. i'm now betting he meant "cool" in the "chilly" sense, not the "wow! yay!" sense.

Oh, I'm sure you're right, Onjel. Logan had a chance to really grow with Veronica on his side. But now? There's been that break in trust. And with daddy Aaron on the outs in the community, Logan is going to have a rough time of it. No mom. No dad. I wonder who'll step up to take custody. His sister? I can't see it. If he doesn't have someone on his side he will end up just like his father, because no one is there to temper his nasty side. I hope his character grows instead of turns.

Sara - I'm in the very, very pissed corner with you. I kept waiting - okay what happened with Logan, come one where's the Logan scene? GRRRRRR!!!! So this is the big romantic cliffhanger - is it Duncan or Logan at the door. Got to say Rob - kind of disappointed in that. And this is his cool resolve? I read the magazine interview - the person asked -so what happens with Logan and Veronica? And he said - it has a cool resolve. This is a cool resolve. This is not a resolve. Well, to a mystery lovin' guy, this is cool, I guess.

I'm now agreeing with everyone - it probably was Wallace. She wouldn't be so happy, smiling if it was Logan. Since she kind of owes him a HUGE APOLOGY. I must admit - last week's Veronica and this week's Veronica simply don't mesh in my mind. Why is she so quick to judge him after the tearful apology? I simply find the character changes not consistent. Logan - has been consistent. I realize they had to focus on the murder this week and I loved all the Keith/Veronica scenes but still - this week's Veronica was one hard chicky. I'm afraid to read the responses on TWOP - all the Logan haters will be doing I stomp on your ship dances. Sigh! So the big cliffhanger that will be resolved in the first episode - who is at the door? Geez - I'll be on pins and needles (note my sarcastic voice). *offers the Silver Tray, at extreme arm's length* *carefully keeps Silver Tray between him and Pixi at ALL TIMES* *fears the wrath of a confounded V/L shipper*

Thanks. I kind of was into the show a little. ;D But I really, really disliked the ending. And maybe it was Wallace. Great. Just great. So Logan is teetering on a bridge all miserable and this is all we get till next year? Rob - thanks, really thanks. Let's just leave all the Logan lovers MISERABLE ALL SUMMER. Boy is Logan in for one miserable senior year. Veronica dumped him, his daddy had sex with and murdered his girlfriend and his mom is still missing. Hey Logan - have a nice summer buddy. But at least he's really really an emancipated guy now. Oops. Maybe that's not so good. No one to watch out for him, his mom's money spent on drinking himself into a stupor all summer long.

Or another very accomplished fanwanker. Which is pretty much the same thing, no? Well, you gotta keep sane somehow. Keeping sane = strong.

Well since Aaron will be going to jail - though probably not right away, it seems a given that Mommy Echolls will be back.
And in the same interview RT said he would like to have AH back but it depended on her pilot situation so will Logan be batching it by himself?
I think it's a given, the Lynn storyline will take up next year.
And whoever said Duncan looked like a vampire with all that blood on him - eatah that. I thought he looked like he was in one of those zombie movies and had been doing some munching (um sorry about the icky imagery there but that's what it reminded me of).
Wonder what Spring will think of all this?

Lola - hee, hee. It probably was Wallace at the door. I'm repeating - I really, really hated the ending. I liked the little coda with Lilly. It was sweet. And thats the end of the story of Lilly Kane. She was frisky, she was fun but she got into the wrong bed. Bye Lilly - it was a great ride. Here's to Lilly! Perfectly put - a hell of a ride!

Going to try to re-watch.
Feels like I've been on a roller-coaster.
Saw tons and tons and tons of action and plot resolution, but themes? Something cohesive to hang a review on? Not so much.
Best scene: Keith signs the papers (of course you KNEW RIGHT THEN what the results showed---he would never sign away Veronica's inheritance if she were owed one.); then V signs the papers without so much as a twitch and they both knew that she knew she might be a Kane. And then the shared joy!
Second best: Alicia at Keith's bedside.
Scary, even if you "knew" Veronica would be okay: Aaron in the rear-view mirror (the man has a seriously scary face); and----trapped in a freezer with insano man. Then, all beat up and he tosses the lighter. I wish I knew more about movies (esp Hitchcock).
And, yes, at the beginning of the season Veronica had the world's suckiest life: ex-boyfriend dumps her; best friend killed; dad ostracized and losses job; mom leaves town; dumped and ostracized herself by entire school; rape!
So, now it's Logan's turn..... And he has every right not to trust Veronica or want her anywhere near him. Very effective at seriously prolonging the angst (no matter how much Pixi hates it). And I still say that Weevil's parentage may still turn up as an issue next year. Mom dead (?); Dad a murderer, statuatory rapist, and seriously insano; girlfriend has serious trust issues. He put himself out there at least 3 times for Veronica and she stabbed him in the heart every time.
I refuse to believe, myself, that going back to Duncan is even an option. It never even occured to me that it would be Duncan at the door. Teddy Dunn is a non-entity to me (and serious weak link in the acting) and it will take a whole lot of good writing to change that.
I should think, though, that the Kanes would be hugely grateful to both Keith and Veronica for proving that it wasn't Duncan.
It's not going to be easy for Trina either.
Sorry, got to go re-watch. and think.

*offers the Silver Tray, at extreme arm's length* *carefully keeps Silver Tray between him and Pixi at ALL TIMES* *fears the wrath of a confounded V/L shipper* Hee, hee. Oh I knew I would be facing pain. It doesn't mean I'm not upset about it but I knew it was coming. I mean - could he not just throw us a crumb? After all that buildup? RT- I may be a minion but you sir are EVIL. Stop reading Joss' Guide to relationships right now - do you hear me?

Hee! What, no oil? But I do think Veronica might have called Weevil, because she knew he'd probably be gunning for Logan. Cool. I like it. And another very smart woman on the board! **still giggling over the oil soaked slumber party** But, really, she took the time and opportunity to tell Duncan that he wasn't really her brother, so it's not out of the question that she'd also think of the other issues that needed to be cleared up.
