I did, but just at the end, it froze my computer. Erin, Is there any way you can post the direct link here? All I get is an error message. I have a sinking feeling I'm not going to be able to view it. Maybe I can get Carolyn or Jim to see if they can get it on their computer. Does one have to use some special aol related browser or viewing software? It's quicktime, so I can't seem to get a direct link. Do you have quicktime? It finally worked for me though. Basically, it's the same up to the hospital scene.

It's gonna tell you that KENDALL IS TRYING TO HOOK UP WITH HER LITTLE BROTHER!!!!!!
"Second lead of "Wilder things"?
Is it wrong that I laughed at Trina falling and breaking her head?
Cassidy is treating her about as decent as anyone else, if not better.
And he's right, "sales" is all she knows.
"Now that you know that you're not brother and sister, you and Duncan have a nice little thing going"
"And that would be bad, right?"
And who is he going out to dinner with?
Oh, fer, Veronica, don't trash the guy's mom to him, unless you are looking to cause trouble between you.
Oh, crap, Hi, Celeste!

"Should have told them" "or told me why you didn't tell me"
Holy crap... there was NO reaction to that shot she slapped at her about the prom...
Lianne is KENDALL's MOMMA!!!
Oh boy..
Huh, are they gonna truce?
"Get matching capes?"
Hee!! Ah, young hormones.. "We'll work together, but we gotta keep up appearances...."
Honor satisfied, they can now work together....
Who was dude who "wanted to put him in the ground"?
Oh, Mac, what did you do with the hair?
"Pay me in cash, I ask no questions"
"Tip me off when you go public" "I think that might be illegal" "but you're admiring my moxie"
Awww! Macassidy!
Oh holy shit, it's Trina........

I wonder why the VP is suddenly coming down on Veronica now? Ah - he wants to put her to work! Or does he really want to give her the opportunity to look through files? Wow. I'm deeply impressed; you were all over this.

I didn't care for the alternate ending at all. It spins events so differently from the aired ending that I believe that it was shot purely for shock value as a promotional stunt. Meg is awake and pregnant as opposed to her being murdered and Veronica a suspect. No way that ending would fit with whatever the next episode does.
I thought Meg was pregnant with Duncan's baby. But next week's preview laid it on so thick about Veronica knowing that Duncan being the baby-daddy that now I thinking he almost certainly not. Veronica is *alway* wrong when she jumps to quick conclusions. Duncan didn't do Kendall and probably not Meg.
This show has been compared to the noir Chinatown. "Who is the baby, Meg?" "She's my sister [slap] my daughter [slap] my sister and my daughter."
Mr. Manning was one of the photos floating by when "one of these people will die" was announced. He's my bet now.
Loved seeing AH and CC go at it. Have they been together acting since Graduation Day? Never mind, I just remembered that Cordy (albeit evil-Cordy) was still around when Willow popped in to re-soul Angelus.

How creepy would it be if Mr. Manning was in fact the father of Meg's child? That gives much more weight to the "Daddy says I'm not ready."

I LOVE this show..
What the HELL are you doing here, Veronica?
Veronica, you could be a daughter of Celeste yourself.
And god, thank god she's got a conscience.
Almost, or she wouldn't be telling her this.
Oh my god, she's delighted about it!!!!
Oh my god...
SHE is the mom.
Mary's the mother.....
Well, crap, that came out not the way anybody expected.
She DID say "friend"
Well, at least Trina is philosophicalish about it.
Oh, lord, it's the principal... heee!!!! Veronica is gonna get her arse in a sling.
Oh, the universe does NOT revolve around you. You weren't the "rat"
Holy Crap, Van Clemmons set her up.. and did it without even doing anything more than setting her in the right direction...
Abel Koontz is dead..
Heee!! (on the "promotion")
Huh. So she IS pregnant.
And she wakes up NOW?!?
NO! She hasn't been in a coma for a while: she's been playing possum...
HOOOLLLYY CRAAAP!!!

In other news: How cute were Mac and Cassidy? There appeared to be a bit of sparkage there, no? I hope they're not going to swerve us and make Cassidy evil. I'm really starting to like him. Strange that he's soooo different from his brother.

But it makes sense, given the information she has now, that Veronica would think she's the "rat" because of the connection with Aaron Echolls/Curly. I don't think it's a sign of the "world revolving around her." As viewers, that's the only info we've got so far, the rest is just conjecture.

Never saw or heard AH, did we?

And they talked on the phone in "Disharmony." Yeah, but wasn't that just CC? Neve saw or heard AH, did we? We did. We saw her sitting on her bed in the dorm room she shared with Tara. Here's the transcript: CORDELIA: How come you guys didn't tell me about Harmony? Sunnydale is that far away you couldn't afford a little phone call? WILLOW: Harmony? Wha-what about Harmony? CORDELIA: She's here - in L.A. WILLOW: Yikes. Big yikes. Uh. What happened? Did she come after you? CORDELIA: Yeah! She practically attacked me in my bedroom last night. WILLOW: Your bedroom. How did she... CORDELIA: Came in while I was sleeping. Good thing I woke up, too. She was ready to jump me right there! But I think she got the message that I don’t' go for that sort of stuff when I shot her down. WILLOW: You wounded her? CORDELIA: She'll get over it. I never should have invited her to stay with me. WILLOW: Say what? CORDELIA: Yeah, I know. Awkward much? WILLOW: Cordelia! Okay. We're all clear on the fact that Harmony is a vampire, right? CORDELIA: Oh. Harmony is a vampire? - That's why she - oh, my god, I'm so embarrassed! All this time I thought she was a great big lesbo! - Oh, yeah? Really? - Well, that's great! Good for you. WILLOW: Thanks for the affirmation. Cordelia, Harmony is *very* dangerous. You have to get out of there!

The lesson for this evening: Appearances Are Deceiving! - It appears that Lianne was a fiend when she was in high school, but she was actually a good friend.
- Lunch Lady Doris who is really Mary, appears to be retarded; in truth she is deaf.
- It appears that Keith isn’t going to help Veronica look into the prom baby case, but Keith came through for his daughter.
- It appears Weevil and Logan are going to kill one another, but in fact, they’ve made a pact to work together to discover Felix’ murderer.
- It appears the Van Clemmons is punishing Veronica, when in fact, he’s using her to get a promotion.
- It appears that Duncan is interested in Kendall, but he’s not going to be seduced (again?).
- It appears that when Veronica talks about Celeste with Duncan that she thinks highly of his mother, while in reality...not so much.
- It appears that Astrid is the prom baby, but when Veronica appears as the head of Mars Investigations, she finds out otherwise.
- It appears to Veronica that turning in the videotape of Trina to the tabloids is a “rascally” thing to do, but Trina thinks it’s a pretty good idea.
- It appears that Duncan has a child with Veronica, when in fact, he has one with Meg.
Overall, it was a weird, choppy episode that juggled many balls, some more successfully than others. As for the alternate ending, I just have one question. When did this show turn into a really bad soap opera?
