"With bugging hours just preceding." "Definitely the priest I want on my side during a teen knife fight." ;D ;D ;D Heeee! Now she's gonna have to confess. ;D And will she actually learn something? Hmmmm? "Part of us isn't blending in." ;D Back to "right thing to do". I came to talk to you, not your uncle. Listen to him, Rashard! Oh damn. Jackie!! Oh crap. A club in Hollywood. Ahhhhh, now we know why the cop at the station was all "I can get you in". Veronica moving the stakeout to follow Rashard. But don't leave Wallace there, all locked up!!! OK, granted, she doesn't know he's in trouble. Also - any club that Jackie's suggesting, and wanting you to not tell your keeper uncle about? Probably a place to get in trouble.

Hi, Jackie!! "The three of us" okay. Oh, that sounds like it would be a real riot. Veronica and Jackie ride again. ;D Yeah, they looked real excited about it too. That's what I was thinking. Of course, she does owe him for a lot of loyalty and help in the past . . . A very good question, sir! I didn't look over fast enough to see and I don't want to rewind right now. Did anyone else get a good look?

Oh, Veronica! You clever minx you! One of your favorite tricks - switching the phone. ;D Is the confessional just a drop spot? And the priest doesn't know? Thumper!!!!!!!!! Then I'll bet it was Thumper in the hall too! (I have to rewind after the show is over.) Oh, hell yeah! Jackie was working him!!!!!! She was in on it!!! That is just too too perfect. ;D ;D ;D I should have thought about that after last week. Oh crap. It's the whole gang that's in on the deal. Holy hell. Weevil! My baby!! Why was Weevil almost killing Curly?! They took his bike! Sacriledge!!!!!!! Wallace's dad comes through. Finds the paid off drive thru guy and they took the phone so they could find him!! Woody told her to take the limo. So, Woody is part of it all. I knew it, I knew it, I knew it!! Well, if they arrested Mr. Cook this early, then I know he didn't really do it. But he knows something. He's being set up, like Wallace was set up.

All right Jackie! I had a bad feeling about that baseball owner/manager from the beginning. Wasn't he all about changing the town of Neptune? Thumper! Poor Weevil. He's between a rock and a hard place now.

Do you think the whole gang is in on Felix's murder, too? Looks like Thumper staged a coup and took over Weevil's place as head of the gang. Not sure how Curly's beating fits into all of this. Was Weevil manuvered into beating him by Thumper? I can't remember the details. Aack!

Now we know why he was introduced last week. I wonder how Veronica got the same model of phone to him so quickly. Oh, I forgot - she's slippery. Does Sheriff Lamb remind anyone else of Barney Fife to Keith's Andy Griffith?

This was a really good episode! Veronica, minus Duncan, is a lot more Veronica than she's been in a long time. And what's better is that you could see her realizing that as Britt Daniels was singing "She used to have a carefree mind of her own and a devilish look in her eye..."
Here are the full lyrics, which are wicked appropriate:
Is it all in that pretty little head of yours? What goes on in that place in the dark? Well I used to know a girl and I could have sworn that her name was Veronica Well she used to have a carefree mind of her own and a delicate look in her eye These days I'm afraid she's not even sure if her
name is Veronica
Chorus:
Do you suppose, that waiting hands on eyes, Veronica has gone to hide? and all the time she laughs at those who shout her name and steal her clothes. Veronica, Veronica, Veronica
Did the days drag by? Did the favours wane? Did he roam down the town all the while? did you wake from your dream, with a wolf at the door, reaching out for Veronica Well it was all of sixty-five years ago When the world was the street where she lived And a young man sailed on a ship in the sea With a picture of Veronica
On the "Empress of India" And as she closed her eyes upon the world and picked upon the bones of last week's news She spoke his name outloud again
Chorus:
Do you suppose, that waiting hands on eyes, Veronica has gone to hide? and all the time she laughs at those who shout
her name and steal her clothes. Veronica, Veronica, Veronica
Veronica sits in har favorite chair she sits in quiet and stil when they called her a name that they never get right and that they'l know nobody else will
well she used to have a carefree mind of her own with a devilish look in her eye saying you can call me anything you like but my name is Veronica
Chorus:
Do you suppose, that waiting hands on eyes, Veronica has gone to hide? and all the time she laughs at those who shout
her name and steal her clothes. Veronica, Veronica, Veronica

All right Jackie! I had a bad feeling about that baseball owner/manager from the beginning. Wasn't he all about changing the town of Neptune? Yup. And now he's all Mr. Politics. It's a conspiracy, I tell ya, a conspiracy! Poor woobie Weevil. He also was tryin' to "do the right thing" only his story didn't turn out as nicely as Wallace's. And Logan was all sweet and snarky and woobie-like too. Plus, snarking and wounded with Veronica, which is always a good look on him.

Would someone do me the favor of IMing me about whether I can read the comments before watching? I generally don't like to be spoiled but if the ep is really mainly about how they prove Wallace innocent then I'll read along. However, if there are any other interesting developments that I should probably wait to see in context for myself I'll (try) to avoid reading until I get to watch. Stupid UPN. What's wrong with showing it late, after the game? I'll try to remember to IM you with my opinion on if waiting is best. **pets poor Sue, all VM deprived** Thank you for the sympathy. I've been begging for it all day. (Hey and thanks for thinking of my lungs too. Scuba gear for the S'cubie . I was replying and when I hit post that's when the board broke---so maybe it was me. I'll ask my pulmo doc (see her next week) about some minimal levels of exposure.) I DID get to watch BONES. I think I could get JIm to watch that one with me.
