Quote: But it isn’t so much about our needs for food, money or sex, as it is about our common need for love and acceptance:I see I'm not the first one to quote this excellent insight, Spring. I really enjoyed your review. It really brought some things in focus for me. I think Dick and Beaver's dad has something to do with the bus crash - because he's the one that sent out the limo, mostly, and also because he's conveniently out of the country. Other than that - I am pretty clueless at to what all the clues mean. Thanks, Karen. I join you in utter befuddlement! Not only do we have a mess of clues, but we have more than one mystery here - Felix, the bus crash, and that dead body in the ice was never explained either. My brain cannot hold all this stuff. I hope someone over at VM has a great big flow chart of some kind set up for keeping track and bringing it all successfully together in the next few weeks.

About Veronica being "Rich Dude Kryptonite."
Dick failed to mention her role in uncovering his dad's scams. Did he forget, or does he not know about that?

A bit off topic....but not. Bitter, resentful me reared her ugly head after watching this ep. Where's the hand-wringing? The histrionics? Don't they realize they're dealing with a serious subject?
But I really appreciated the elegantly matter-of-fact way they've dealt with the addiction aspect of this story. I hope Joss was watching, and was deeply shamed.
